Today we'll be taking a look at the 6 by 8 Erickson mesh tarp and truck bed cover, part number EM57056. These are available in a variety of sizes such as the 8 by 10, part number EM57057; and the 10 by 12, part number EM57058; and finally, the 12 by 16 EM57059. Let's go ahead and put that on our trailer today. As you can see, our trailer here today is filled with a variety of different size of boxes. Let's go ahead and pull our tarp out of the bag and drape it over our trailer. The mesh tarp is made of a high-tensile heavy duty weave. It has extra strong webbing and stitched hems.
As you can see, it's got extra reinforced corners so we don't have to worry about any tearing when we strap it down to our trailer. Another nice thing about this tarp is since it's made out of a mesh material it's going to help reduce wind flapping since the wind can just come right through it. It also features these rust-resistant brass grommets we can are all around our tap, which gives us a wide variety of tie down locations. Another great use it could be used for is protecting your outdoor living areas from wind and sun, or you can use it for dump truck loads such as gravel, mulch, or a variety of other things. Erickson also offers a wide variety of tie downs. Here we have the Erickson Bungee Ball.
It stretches out a nice 12". I'll simply just feed the loop through our grommet, put the ball through, and stretch that down underneath our taillight. That's going to complete our look at the 6 by 8 Erickson mesh tarp and truck bed cover, part number EM57056. .

We purchased the tarp for our leaf box. Strong and durable. It was easy to maneuver and attach. We are very please with the material and the cost!
I have not used this tarp yet, but I keep it in my dump-trailer to haul leaves to the town recycle center. I have always used rain tarps, but they flop-around and catch the wind driving down the road. This is mesh, and should not be effected by the wind! I understand that law enforcement hassles landscapers about having a dump trailer covered. I'm not commercial, but it's good to have one to cover the load. Tarp seems to be well made

The tarp itself is holding up well but two of the grommets came out after a few uses. If they improve the grommets then its a five star tarp.
Product is as advertised and looks to be made well and from quality material. We use these almost daily and hoping they last for several years

Seems like good quality
Erickson mesh 8x10 tarp is poor quality. Used a handful of times in first year, the eyelets tore in numerous places. Tarp will be useless next time try to do tie down, they will completely let go. Called e-trailer they offered condolences and gave me go ahead tor review out of refund or sending new. Will not purchase another "heavy duty mesh tarp" from e-trailer or Erickson brand.

The mesh trailer cover is well constructed and tough. Used it once already to cover a load of jagged plywood pieces sticking above roofing tear off debris - shingles and such. The cover performed extremely well with no signs of tearing or weakness. I'm guessing this cover will hold up for many years. I am extremely happy with this purchase. It was shipped quickly as well.
Great tarp excellent condition! Just don't do what I did and leave it between your cab and dump bed... I accidently left it dangling after getting gas ( my truck is modded and requires being lifted to get gas) I left it between the cab and dump.
The muffler pipe melted it but other than that and even after being partially melted it still does it's job!
I actually use it to cover my kids sandbox. It allows the sand to still breath and dry out, but keeps the cats and animals in the neighborhood from using the sand box as a litter box. It is outside 100% of the time and is still in perfect shape. It just went through its first New England winter and is still holding strong. I would recommend this to anyone for any application.

I still like it a lot. I have used it too cover an equipment trailer for the past year and it looks as good as new!
I purchased a mesh tarp for my dump trailer. It's strong and durable and it works well for what I intended it for. I resently purched a new larger trailer, and will be ordering the same type of tarp for it.
I used this product to load fall leaves and branches that I had trimmed and to then haul about 200 yards to be unloaded in an area away from the housing of our subdivision. I wrapped a four foot elastic cord around my waist and then hooked it to the ends of the 8 x 10 tarp. I climb on my John Deere and dragged the material to the dump zone. Because the mesh is much lighter than material that I used before, it was very easy to unload and fold under my arm and return for the next load. After about 15 trips the mesh is starting to tear some.
I would like to suggest sewing a strong piece of canopy on both sides about 3 - 4 feet wide down the middle of the tarp. That would help eliminate the chance to tear the area that takes the most weight and makes the largest contact when dragging the mesh over the 200+ yards.
