Can Erickson Mesh Tarp be Used on a Gazebo to Provide Shade and Keep Out Insects

Would this type of mesh be suitable for adding shade and insect protection to a gazebo if appropriately hung?

Yes, though not its primary function the Erickson mesh tarp # EM57057 can be used on a gazebo to provide some shade and any insects would have a hard time getting through the mesh. The mesh is not impenetrable in terms of sunlight or insects but would certainly reduce them.
