The locking handle has performed very well over the last year. It still looks great but I keep my truck in a garage a lot of the time. It was easy to install and has increased the utility of my truck bed and tonneau cover because it locks now.
So far, so good. It has only been installed for a short period of time, but the fact that it can use my ignition key, and allows for the backup camera really makes this feel almost like OEM.
Easy to install, matches the original - I would have bought a more rugged metal replacement latch if I had known you had one available.
My original Pop & Lock faded a bit after 4 years, so I replaced it with a brand new one. I had added a bed cover and needed to secure the tailgate.
The original worked without issue for 4 years.
I found that reviewing videos of the installation process helped. The installation was easy and the product met my expectations of quality construct and fit.
This replacement tailgate handle is fantastic. Exact fit and very easy installation and it works great. It’s awesome that it can be keyed to your vehicle key.
Really easy install by following step-by-step video, took about 20 minutes. Keying the lock to match my ignition key was simple,and so far it's working great. I read a few reviews that said the tailgate has to be in locked position in order to remove key, I did not find that to be the case, my key comes out regardless of whether it's locked or unlocked. Great product, highly recommend.
2014 Tacoma. This was a piece of cake to install. The biggest problem was finding the proper torx wrench for the tailgate cover remove - fortunately they were not very tight. The factory backup camera re-installed into new handle just fine after removing knockout plug. The two metal arms installed easily. The re-keying to fit my ignition was painless. I'm impressed. Handle is not as sturdy feeling as original OEM handle but is adequate. Not only is the handle smaller (which is expected) but the plastic feels thinner to me. Overall I'm very happy with this lock so far.

Easy to understand instructions. Works great. Locks and unlocks easy. Key slides in and out.
Received order very quick. Took me about 15 minutes to install. Everything included fit perfect and looks great. I could recommend to anyone wanting the added security. Will the lock stop a thief, NO but it will keep all but the most determined at bay.

I have already had to take the lock out once because of corrosion and spray lubricant on it and will have to do that again soon. Not happy at all.
Item was a perfect fit for my truck tailgate. I could not be more pleased. Still works like it should. Will diffidently use trailer again. You can't go wrong with these guys.

Worked very well with the Tanneau cover we installed to keep things safe while at Hotels. It was very easy to install and has never been a problem hanging up or not locking .

Absolutely perfect
Got this new handle within a couple of days and it was really simple to replace the old one. Now I can lock my truck bed to go with my new bed cover i'm having installed.

After further review I am still completely satisfied with this product. Only thing that I fou to be a problem was the nut on the back of the lock was missing. Tear it all apart after installed and a quick trip to the hardware store to get what was needed. A bit more quality control could have prevented this.
