Hi, I’m wondering if I can rekey the existing core with my ignition key for Item PAL1310? I’m looking to find a new tailgate Handel with a key core that can be rekeyed to the ignition key if possible. I have a 2011 GMC sierra 1500 SLT Thank you!

Hey Jesse, cool name. It is possible to rekey the Pop & Lock Custom Locking Tailgate Handle # PAL1310 to your ignition key. For that you will need the following:
- Replacement Lock Core for Pop & Lock Tailgate Lock - Manual BOLT Lock - Silver # PL1350CONV
