Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the Westin LED light kit for the Sure-Grip running boards. Now, this LED light kit is a custom design kit to fit the Westin Sure-Grip running boards. These LED running board lights can be positioned anywhere on the Sure-Grip step board, and the lights are attached with these adhesive strips on the back of the light, and they're designed to fit the contour of the running boards. These are made from a tough UV stabilized black polymer, and the lights will illuminate the step board when the doors are open.
It has five LEDs per pod. And as you can see, this comes as a set of four, two per side, and the wiring harness is all included. Everything you need for an easy, professional installation.And what I wanted to do here is hook this up to some 12 volt power, just to show you how bright the lights are. Here's our two wires, our power wire and our ground wire. So, if we go ahead and hook those up, and you can see the lights come on.
And then I'm going to go ahead and turn off the overhead lights, and you can see they give off a nice, bright five LEDs per light. And again, it's when you open your vehicle's door that these will come on and light up the running board. Go ahead and turn back on overhead lights. But that should do it for the review on this Westin LED light kit for the Sure-Grip running boards.
