Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this Taylor Made marine gas strut for boat hatches. This is going to replace one worn or damaged ball and socket gas strut from your boat's hatch lid or compartment door. It's going to extend to ease the lifting of your hatch lid and compress to gently close your hatch without slamming. And this is a 13 millimeter ball and socket installation.
So, you're gonna simply attach to the ball studs on the inside of your boat's hatch. And this is constructed of heat treated steel so it is durable. And it features a corrosion resistant coating that's going to make it great for saltwater environments. Now, let me pull out my tape measure here and give you the overall length. I'm gonna be measuring center of socket to center of socket.
