Features to know about

Built to Handle the Load: 4,080-lb Capacity with 8 on 6-1/2 Bolt Pattern

This wheel is tough enough for real hauling. With a 4,080 lb capacity, 16" x 7" rim size, and an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern, it’s made for heavy-duty trailers that see real miles. The 0 offset and 4.88" pilot diameter keep the setup properly centered and solid on the hub. It meets DOT specifications and SAE J1204 standards for a design you can trust at highway speeds.

No Rust, No Fuss: Lightweight Aluminum with Automotive-Grade Finish

Corrosion doesn’t stand a chance against this rustproof aluminum construction. The gunmetal gray Eagle Series wheel gets an automotive-grade clear coat finish that protects against scuffs and scratches while showing off a clean, modern look. It’s the kind of low-maintenance surface that keeps its shine season after season, even in wet or humid conditions.

Stays Tight and True: Steel Lug Nut Inserts for a Secure Fit

Lionshead presses steel inserts into the lug nut wells so the aluminum doesn’t wear over time. That means your wheel stays secure on the hub without needing constant re-torqueing. The inserts help prevent holes from elongating or losing grip, giving you confidence every time you hit the road.

Straightforward Mounting Confidence: Fits 1/2"-20 or 9/16"-18 Wheel Bolts

Fitment is simple when the specs are clear. The Aluminum Eagle Trailer Wheel uses common 1/2"-20 or 9/16"-18 wheel bolt sizes, making it easy to match existing hardware. Torque specs from Lionshead call for 90–120 ft-lbs with 1/2" lug nuts or 120–140 ft-lbs with 9/16", so you can set it up right the first time and know it’s secure.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

It came very quickly and is close enough to matching the wheels on my camper that it will make a great spare. I just had the tire mounted to it & now will feel more comfortable when towing my 5th wheel after having 2 blowouts in just a few days. Unfortunately the size tires I have are always available "the next day".

by:

We purchased a slightly damaged unused wheel for a lower price. Damage was minimal and well worth the price.

by:

Great wheels for the price and shipped really quickly. I didn’t pay attention and they don’t come with center caps.

by:

These people are awesome at what they do. Thanks Etrailer

by:

The Wheels are great; they are what they are. I could probably get these wheels or equals at a number of places, what is exceptional is etrailer customer service. Their website gives lots of information and from the point of ordering I could easily track the progress (which was very quick) of my order.

by:

A little shrink wrap would go a long way. Wheels had no protective packaging, just rubbing around in a cardboard box for some nice rim finish removal.

by:

The wheels are what they show
Happy with
my purchase and look good on my boat....thanks Billy

by:

Kelly P was great to work with to get the rim to us ASAP!
Definitely recommend etrailer

by:

Breanna was great ! Everything we've ordered from e-Trailer has been top quality, price, service & shipping. Highly recommended for any & everything trailer related.. Thanks again to Breanna & Nick..

by:

The wheel itself is fine but there was no cap on the tire valve allowing dirt or leak causing debris to get in the valve. It is a little thing that should not happen.

by:

Nice looking wheel, great price and fast shipping ????

by:

Great wheels. Got a good deal on two that had minor blemishes. Mounted them a few weeks ago and my trailer not only looks great but also being able to safely tow with newer wheels makes it all that more enjoyable. Thank you etrailer!!

by:

Bought an extra rim for a matching spare tire for my Valor 36V11. Delivered on time and as per specs.

  • Wheels for 2018 Forest River Sandpiper 5th wheel
Thanks for reaching out Kurt. I appreciate you including your VIN. Unfortunately, we don't have a reliable way to use the VIN to identify the specific replacement wheels and tires installed on your Sandpiper. From what I was able to find, your Sandpiper was originally equipped with ST235/80R16 tires. This tire size can fit 16" wheels that are 6" or 7" wide, so you have several replacement options. Based on the Aluminum Eagle Trailer Wheel # LH32FR you were looking at, it appears you...

  • PSI Rating for Aluminum Eagle Trailer Wheel
Thanks for your question Larry. The valve stem on the # LH68VR is rated for 100 PSI. If you are running a tire that requires a higher PSI you can upgrade to an all metal valve stem like # AM20906. This valve stem is rated up to 200 PSI. What type of setup are looking to add these wheels to?

  • 16" x 7" Replacement Wheels for 2009 Jayco Designer 35RLSA
Hi Eugene; we only have a handful of 16" x 7" wheels so I will list them all below. To make sure they can handle 110+ psi you can use the Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem # AM20906 which is rated up to 200 psi. For wheels you can choose from the following: -Aluminum Modular Trailer Wheel - 16" x 7" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 - Silver # LHJM513 -Aluminum Eagle Trailer Wheel - 16" x 7" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 - Glossy Black # LH32FR -Aluminum Eagle Trailer Wheel - 16" x 7" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 - Matte Black...

  • Replacement Wheels For A 2023 Forest River Rogue Armored 5th Wheel Toy Hauler
Hi Richard! How many of the HWT Aluminum Hi-Spec Series 6 Trailer Wheel - 16" x 7" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 # AM22697 are you looking for? I only ask as they are being discontinued and we do not have four in stock (pretty sure you have 2 axles). Once the ones we have are gone, we will not be getting any more, unfortunately. One other thing to note, they are rated to 3,200 pounds, so they may be a little under rated for your camper/toy hauler. If you are needing four wheels, I will need to steer...

  • Will Aluminum Eagle Trailer Wheel Fit 2006/2007 King of the Road Royal Villa F36FL
Hey Edgar! Since you have an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern the Aluminum Eagle Trailer Wheel - 16" x 7" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 # LH68VR will fit. Do you have 16" tires right now? Double check your tires to make sure they are the right size to match the wheels.

  • Can 16" 8-Lug Jaguar Aluminum Wheel be Replaced?
Hey Robert, thanks for reaching out! The Jaguar wheel has been discontinued so we'll need to get you set up with an alternative, and for that I recommend checking out the Aluminum Eagle Trailer Wheel # LH68VR. It isn't an exact replacement, but it has a similar design and the 8-lug bolt pattern you're looking for, so it still has potential. Is there another design you'd like to completely switch over to?
