This wheel is tough enough for real hauling. With a 4,080 lb capacity, 16" x 7" rim size, and an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern, it’s made for heavy-duty trailers that see real miles. The 0 offset and 4.88" pilot diameter keep the setup properly centered and solid on the hub. It meets DOT specifications and SAE J1204 standards for a design you can trust at highway speeds.
Corrosion doesn’t stand a chance against this rustproof aluminum construction. The gunmetal gray Eagle Series wheel gets an automotive-grade clear coat finish that protects against scuffs and scratches while showing off a clean, modern look. It’s the kind of low-maintenance surface that keeps its shine season after season, even in wet or humid conditions.
Lionshead presses steel inserts into the lug nut wells so the aluminum doesn’t wear over time. That means your wheel stays secure on the hub without needing constant re-torqueing. The inserts help prevent holes from elongating or losing grip, giving you confidence every time you hit the road.
Fitment is simple when the specs are clear. The Aluminum Eagle Trailer Wheel uses common 1/2"-20 or 9/16"-18 wheel bolt sizes, making it easy to match existing hardware. Torque specs from Lionshead call for 90–120 ft-lbs with 1/2" lug nuts or 120–140 ft-lbs with 9/16", so you can set it up right the first time and know it’s secure.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Glad to hear the rim was a perfect match for your Valor 36V11 and arrived exactly as expected! Having a matching spare always brings a little extra peace of mind on the road.
