Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this aluminum Viking Series Valhalla black spoke trailer wheel. Now, this wheel is built for those who actually put their trailers to work. This isn't just for looks. This wheel is rated for 3,750 pounds, so it's gonna be more than capable of handling those heavier loads without feeling like you're pushing your limits. One of the biggest advantages of this wheel is the material that it's made from.
It is made from aluminum, which means it's not going to rust like traditional steel wheels. And that's a big deal if you're around moisture, road salt, or launching in and out the water. On top of that, this does have a protective clear coating on both sides, so it's gonna hold up really well over time without pitting or flaking. Now, it's not just about durability. This does look sharp.
The Viking Series Valhalla Design, as you can see, has these black spokes, and so it's very good looking. It's gonna look great on your trailer. It gives you a clean, bold, upgraded look, instead of that plain, utilitarian look that most wheels have. And this wheel really stands out in the details. The lug nut holes here have steel inserts.
Let me turn this around, here, maybe you can see that a little bit better, there. So, that's a big plus because, since this is aluminum, if it's just aluminum alone, that can potentially wear down, especially in those bolt holes. Looking at the diameter, here, we're measuring right at 16", and the width is 6", so it's a 16" x 6" inch wheel. Our bolt pattern is 8 on 6 1/2". I have the TA75FR wheels and the wheels are great. Have received compliments on their looks but the center caps do show a little rust which I have tried to clean up.

Still rolling! I had a brief break down. Under the loads carried by ANY rim while towing, I have had two completely different brands, one Fuel and one Taskmaster, crack. There were NOT catastrophic but small cracks along the centerline. I believe this is a manufacturing casting process weakness. All that said, both times, for both wheels, they were fully covered under warranty, no problems and quick turnaround. The hardest part was putting on the spare tire. I am confident these wheels are good and have probably proved that. Both times road hazards may have been the true issue. Potholes are hazardous to heavy loads. Although I cannot prove this, I am more vigilant for road hazards. We full time RV and rely upon working wheels. I would buy these anytime. They look good. These Taskmaster wheels have one of the highest load ratings available.
