This wheel comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Lionshead, 14 inch by 5 inch, Gunmetal Gray, Eagle aluminum trailer wheel with the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now this is an aluminum wheel. It's durable, lightweight, and rustproof. And we mention it's the Eagle Series, which is a split 5-spoke design. You can see it has a gunmetal gray finish.
But if you look at the edge of the spokes, they do put a nice machine finish on the edge to give a nice shine to the wheel. The few dimensions on this, we're gonna measure the diameter and the width. The diameter will always be measured inside to inside. So if we take our tape measure and if we go inside to inside, there's your 14 inch diameter. Measure the width will be same way, inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat.
So there's your 5 inch width. Now the bolt pattern on this wheel is a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. If you wanted to measure that on a wheel like this that's an odd number of lugs, what you'll need to do is pick any one of the lug holes, let's say this hole right here, but you're gonna measure across from the center of this hole to either one of these holes. But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whatever hole you measure to. So on this one, it'll measure 4-1/2 inches.
So that's a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. This does use a wheel lug size of 1/2 inch by 20. Weight capacity on this wheel is 2,200 pounds. Now this wheel is, if you notice, does not have a center cap. If you do want one, we do sell those separately on our website.
You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as the pilot hole right here 'cause when you do install this, your center cap will go through this hole when you install it. The diameter on this pilot hole is 3.19 inches. Now they do use an automotive-grade clear coat finish on the front to protect it from scuffs and scratches. One of the nice features I like on this wheel, if you look in the lug nut wells, they do use steel inserts in there to help keep the wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. So basically what you'll do is when you put this up on the hub, put it on the studs, put your lugs on, tighten or torque them down, when you do that, the steel inserts in there prevent the holes from elongating and wearing down, so eliminates the need for constant retightening of your lug nuts. If you notice, they do include the valve stem, which will be right over here, it's installed. Now this wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications, and the SAE J1204 standards. They do offer complimentary roadside assistance for two years, and also flat tire services available 24/7 anywhere in the US, Canada, or Puerto Rico. But that should do it for the review on this Lionshead, 14 inch by 5 inch, Gunmetal Gray, Eagle aluminum trailer wheel with the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern.

ETrailer had the right one at a fair price and quick delivery.
They fit great. Came on time. And look great on my fifth wheel
