Features to know about

Built for Highway Confidence: Load Range C with 81-mph Speed Rating

When you’re towing in heat or covering long distances, this tire holds steady mile after mile. The Provider ST175/80R13 radial is Load Range C with a 6-ply rating, supporting up to 1,360 lbs at 50 psi. It’s rated for speeds up to 81 mph (speed rating M) and meets DOT and FMVSS standards, so you can stay on the road without worrying about heat buildup or blowouts.

Strong Construction for Heavy Loads: Double Steel Belts and Polyester Cords

This tire is made to handle real-world hauling stress. The double steel belts and double polyester cords reinforce the carcass for a long life, while a nylon overlay helps prevent tread separation. Each tire is bake tested to make sure the rubber composition holds up over time, giving you solid support and consistent wear.

Better Grip in Every Condition: Automotive-Grade Tread with Deep 10/32" Depth

Rain, snow, or slick pavement—this tread keeps traction where it counts. The automotive-grade pattern uses ribs with breaks and sipes that channel water away from the contact patch. Combined with a 10/32" tread depth, it grips well in wet, snowy, or icy conditions while maintaining a smooth ride on dry roads.

Close-up comparison of Provider ST175/80R13 radial trailer tire tread showing automotive-grade pattern with sipes and water channeling grooves for improved traction on wet roads

Cooler Running on Long Trips: Radial Design for Reduced Rolling Resistance

The radial construction lays cords at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel, cutting down friction and heat buildup compared to bias-ply designs. That means less rolling resistance on the highway and longer tread life. It’s built to deliver a cooler, quieter ride that feels stable even at higher speeds.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

These tires are GREAT! I kept blowing tires because I didn't know the speed rating was so low on most tires (60). These tires are rated much higher (80) I think and have been performing awesome. I have towed the trailer about 10,000 miles and not one issue. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and everyone.

by:

I have about 3000 miles on the trailer tires. Have had no problems. Very pleased with them

by:

This was my first transaction with etrailer.com and I am very pleased with the fair prices and quick shipping. We will do business again!

by:

These look great on my Tracker boat trailer. They seem to pull a lot smoother than the old tires that had flat spotted from the last owner letting it sit for years. The radials seem to handle the bumps better as well.

by:

I bought two radial tires for replacement of ten year old camper tires. These new tires have restored my confidence in camping without break down worries and allow me to travel at highway speeds. A great price for the outstanding quality of product that arrived within a few days of ordering.

by:

This is the good stuff. I had "cheapies" on my trailer and kept having to fix flats, which can put a huge damper on a trip, especially if you have to put on a spare in the rain. Since buying these I have had no issues and they are truly, "the good stuff". Hi speed, Hi temp durable tires that last a long time.

by:

Tire and wheel worked great as a spare. We since sold the TT and the tire went with it.

by:

Sure glad I shopped online. Product information was phenomenal. These tires look great on my boat trailer and I am sure the performance will be awesome. Oh, and you couldn't expect any better than the 4 day delivery using standard shipping. Already have a shortcut on my computer for my next order!

by:

This is my third set. I typically run 70-75 mph out here in the southwest in temperatures as high as 115*. I put 8 to 10k miles on each year and have been changing tires every 2 1/2 years. I’m pulling a snall A-frame camper. I’ve had excellent experiences with this tirem

by:

We have several trailers, which means, we end up buying trailer tires relatively frequently. These tires are by far the best trailer tire I have used. Have yet to have a blowout or belt seperation with these.
Very impressed.

by:

Most trailer-rated tires are too harsh for my <1500lb trailer. I was looking for a smooth-riding, quiet tire that would eject water and slush. I like the look of this tire tread.

by:

Tires were for a teardrop camper. Just returned from a vacation and tires were perfect. Thanks for fast delivery and a fair price.

by:

My order from etrailer.com arrived yesterday .It was very well packages and in perfect condition!!! The shipping was extremely fast, more so than I would have ever expected!!! The ordering process was very simple and straight forward!!! Price was also excellent. This company has superior customer service and I would not hesitate to order form them again. You guys rock!!!

by:

I decided to order tires from etrailer hoping to get ones that were newly manufactured. When I bought my Aliner Sport in 2012 the tires were already two years old. I didn't know then that the life expectancy of a ST tire was more based on age than mileage. Less than 5K miles but almost 6 years, my original tire blew out at the start of a weekend trip. Bummer. Back home, after reading up on trailer tires I realized I had been lucky to run the original tires more than four years. Looking at my options I guessed etrailer would move more tires and would likely have newer tires in stock. I was right! The tires were manufactured in late May and I bought them in July. They look great, had good reviews, and will likely not be an issue for several years. ;>)

by:

Great looking tires for my 1982 Scamp camper. Got a set mounted and balanced on new etrailer rims. I like the tread design and high speed rating. Very happy with them.

by:

The tires that I have purchased from you are very good tires. I am very very HAPPY with them and highly recommend anyone needing this tire and size to purchase them. They will not be disappointed.

by:

I have about 5k miles on these tires on my 3-Rail Motorcycle trailer. I've dragged it over some pretty rough dirt roads loaded with three motorcycles, and down to Baja Mexico from San Francisco and back without a problem. Many roads in Baja were in poor condition due to construction, and weather - the tires have held up perfectly.

by:

Great delivery tracking you all have!
Just
what I ordered.

by:

So far so good, went right on the wheels I ordered to go with it. Came quickly and are very obviously brand new as advertised.

Going on a 1000 mile road trip with them towing my boat this weekend, will report back if I have issues, otherwise assume I'm happy!

by:

Upgraded to a better tire for our teardrop camper. Best decision ever. The previous 12 inch tires were always having issues (from a tractor place). These tires perform well, and have not had any problems (no separation, goose egg's, improper wearing, etc). When these get worn, I will be replacing with the same from etrailer. (Axle, wheels, and tires were all purchased from etrailer.com)

by:

Shipped quickly, installed on my wheels this morning myself. Made in China (4 Stars) .To early to rate the tires themselves. Ordering from Etrailer.com is easy and quick.

by:

Ordered these Wednesday afternoon and they were delivered On Friday. Shipping and packaging are top notch. Had the tires mounted and balanced over the weekend but am yet to road test the trailer.
Definitely plan on using again for my trailer supplies.

I didnt really think changing from bias to a radial tire would make a lot of difference but boy was I ever wrong! I wish I had changed years ago. A higher speed rating was a big plus plus the trailer seems to pull much easier now. Will definitely purchase again when the time comes and will be ordering again from Etrailer. 100 impressed with not only the product but shipping etc is top notch.

by:

eTrailer has been amazing. Their website walks you through what you need. My new bearing kit and dust caps were exact based on the recommendations from the experts at eTrailer. The new tires are amazing, and I am excited to try them on my pop up.

Thanks eTrailer!

I am still absoluetly happy with the product. Though we have had a long winter in Colorado so we have not used the trailer in about 6 months. I will know more how the tires are when I get the trailer out of storage in the coming weeks. Thanks for the follow up. Your company is amazing!!!

by:

Received extremely fast, had local tire shop mount and balance, the rims are mine, I just bought tires.... quality so far

by:

Arrived quick and well packed. So far so good. They mounted, their round, they hold air. The big test to come- a 1500 mile run home. Only down side is that the tires I originally ordered were out of stock and weren't expected in any time soon. These unheard of brand to me were 15.00 more each. Christina J was very helpful.

  • Highest Speed Load Range C 12 Inch Radial Trailer Tire to Stop Blowouts
The load range C Provider ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWTRTM1758013C has a speed rating of M, which is 81 mph; and there are tires with speed ratings of N, though not for 12 inch tires; for that the highest speed rating the 81 mph M-rated tire. • 13 Inch Trailer Wheels and Tire and Wheel Combos that Come with Center Caps
Some trailer wheels come with center caps and others do not. The ones that do come with a center cap will either state in the description the cap is included or it will be pictured (or both). The # AM20281B 13-inch wheel comes with a center cap. We don't currently have any of these wheel options in a combination, so you would need to add a tire like the Provider ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C # TTWTRTM1758013C.

The best 175/80-13 load range C tire to replace them is the Provider ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWTRTM1758013C. Of all the tires of this size and load range, this Provider has the best tread depth (10/32") and speed rating (81 mph) for the best grip and performance. Upgrading your existing 20.5 x 8.0 x 10 (modern equivalent 205/65-10) bias tires to radial alternatives is a great idea, especially since you mentioned traveling through hot climates and presumably highways with the distance you mentioned. Radial tires will do a better job of flexing on the road, thus running cooler than bias alternatives to ensure a longer lifespan. There aren't any radial ply 10" trailer tire options available, so you will need to upgrade to a larger size as well. The...

  • Solution for Needing Replacement Trailer Tire for 155/80-13
Hey Eric, the closest tire size to the ST155/80R13 you have is the ST175/80-13. I did some calculations on the tire sizes and found that the difference between the 175/80R13 and the 155/80R13 is pretty small. The 175/80 is 24 inches inches tall whereas the 155/80 is 22.7 inches tall for a difference of 1.3 inches total, but that difference needs to be split since the overall diameter is split since the wheel rotates on the axle. So basically the wheel will take up an additional .65 inches...

  • What is Pressure Range of Provider ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWTRTM1758013C
Hey John, so trailer tires are different from vehicle tires and they don't have pressure ranges. Instead you are supposed to inflate them to the max psi rating that's on the sidewall when they are cold and just run with that and you'll be good. The part # TTWTRTM1758013C that you referenced has a max psi rating of 50 so that would be what you'd want to inflate them too and you'd ensure you get the full weight and speed rating.

I'll start out by saying that we don't have specific specs on a Northern Tool Ironton trailer but I was able to locate a photo and because of the fenders, I don't believe you'll be able to go up to a larger wheel and tire; your current 4.80-12 tire is roughly 20.63" in diameter. The smallest available 13 inch tire is an ST175/80-13 like the one that comes on the Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13" Galvanized Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C # AM3S130, which is 24" tall. To replace the ST175/80D13 tires on your 2011 Little Guy I strongly recommend the Provider # TTWTRTM1758013C. This radial ply tire is going to provide a substantial upgrade over your existing bias units (as indicated by the "D" in your tire size listing), especially for highway applications. Trailer tires should really be replaced every 6 to 8 years at minimum so the fact you've gotten multiple decades out of your trailer tires is pretty amazing. You must have taken great care to keep them out of the sun or weather because usually they'll show signs of wearing and cracking well before that. In terms of the space you have available between the fenders and the tire tread you could go to a 13 inch tire (there isn't a 4.80-13 so it would have to be an ST175/80R13). But the 13 inch tire will be 2.22 inches wider than what you have now meaning the tire inner sidewall will be 1.11 inches closer to the trailer. These both have the wheel and tire included, which you'll need, since you will be decreasing the size of your rim. The reason I suggest going with the 12 inch rims is because the smallest 13 inch tires available, such as # TTWTRTM1758013C, are 175/80R13 which is quite a bit larger.
