Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Kenda Carrier KR53 ST22575R15 load range D radio trailer tire mounted on this 15 inch Nardo gray mod steel wheel. So this is a complete tire and wheel package. It's gonna come with this tire professionally mounted on this steel trailer wheel. So it's gonna be ready to install right out of the box. That's gonna save you the hassle and cost of having a tire mounted separately.
As I mentioned and as we have stamped on our tire here, this is an ST22575 R15 radio trailer tire and this tire is designed for trailer use only. So this is a pretty common size for many utility cargo equipment and boat trailers and it's paired with this wheel that's 15 inches in diameter by six inches wide. And this is a modular steel wheel and as you probably know, modular describes this pattern that we have here in the wheel itself and it's finished in this really attractive kind of a new, newish color to me, Nardo gray color with this double black pinstripe here going around the inside perimeter. So it's a great looking assembly all together. Now one of the biggest strengths with this tire, so it's a load range D, meaning it's an eight ply rated construction tire and this tire can safely carry up to 2,540 pounds when inflated to 65 PSI.
And this tire features Kenda's KR53 all season tread, which is designed to perform well in a variety of weather conditions. This tread includes channels that it's gonna help move water away from the tire, improving traction and reducing the chance of hydroplaning on those wet roads. And because this is a radial tire, this is also gonna run cooler than those older bias fly trailer tires. And of course, running cooler's gonna help reduce heat buildup during those long trips, which can extend the life of the tire while promoting more even tread wear over time. So this does use a six on five and 1/2 inch bolt pattern, which is again one of the more common patterns found on medium duty trailers.

This does not come with the center cap, but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits the pilot whole diameter 4.27 inches. This uses half inch by 20 wheel studs and the wheel itself is rated at 2,860 pound capacity. But this is going to be a heavy duty ready to install trailer wheel and tire combination that's built for reliable hauling. This is gonna give you a pretty high load capacity, of course, the durable steel construction with the wheel and dependable wet weather performance and the longer lasting benefits of having a radial tire, making this a great option for if you're looking just for a dependable replacement or an upgrade on your trailer.
