Your RV already has a large propane supply, but your portable grill, heater, or other camping appliance may normally require its own disposable propane bottle. The Flow-Longer kit gives that appliance access to the propane you're already carrying. The tee installs between your RV's propane cylinder and regulator, and the 12' hose runs from the tee to your compatible portable appliance. You get fuel for your camping gear without carrying a separate supply of disposable bottles.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this MEC Flow-Longer RV Propane Kit for your portable appliances. Now, this kit is going to be a way for you to use the propane that you already are carrying to run compatible, portable appliances like a grill or a heater instead of bringing along a separate one pound disposable propane bottle. So the main part of this system is going to be this brass T, which I already have hooked up to the hose that's included here. This is going to install between the RV's propane cylinder and regulator. And that's going to be an important distinction because the connection is made on the tank side of the regulator.
This T is going to allow propane to keep flowing through the regulator to the RV while also giving you another connection for that portable appliance. From the T, you're going to get this 12-foot long hose, which is going to give you some flexibility to set the appliance away from the propane cylinder. And this hose has one inch by 20 male and female connections. So I wanted to show you those connections right here. So again, one inch by 20 male and female connections.
And it's intended for compatible, portable appliances that would normally connect to a disposable propane cylinder. So the biggest reason why someone would want this kit is basically convenience. If you're already carrying a larger propane supply on your RV, then you're going to be able to use that fuel for your camping gear rather than continually carrying, changing, and keeping track of individual one pound bottles. So you can see you do have a cap here that comes tethered when this is not in use. But as far as what's included with this kit, it's everything that you see here.
You're going to get this ME415 brass T, and then this hose. The T itself has a male hard nose POL and female POL and inch by 20 male connection. And the system is listed at 0.9 GPM excess flow rating. But I think that's going to wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
