If your trailer sits low or bounces because the leaf spring is worn, this double eye 5-leaf spring provides suspension support. Its 25-1/2" length fits compatible setups, helping restore stable towing and controlled ride movement.
When a leaf spring starts flattening out, your trailer sits lower, bounces more, and becomes less stable over bumps and uneven roads. This 5-leaf, double-eye spring replaces a worn suspension spring with the same style and dimensions, restoring the support your trailer axle needs to absorb road shock and keep the suspension working as intended. The result is smoother suspension movement and more stable towing with compatible trailer setups.
Most suspension repairs come down to finding a spring that matches what's already on the trailer. This spring measures 25-1/2" long and is rated for 3,000 lbs per spring, making it a direct replacement for compatible suspension setups without changing your existing suspension layout.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Terran Industries 5-Leaf Double Eye Spring for your trailer axle. Now, this double eye leaf spring is going to be a replacement spring for your trailer suspension. And if your springs have been flattened or if they're worn out or maybe even broken, this is gonna be a good option for you to consider. Giving you a closer view here, I'm gonna get my tape measure, try to line this up to where you can see. So, I am measuring center of eye to center of eye, and as I hope you can see there, we're sitting right at 25 1/2 inches.
And then the width is 1 3/4 inches. So the main reason that someone would be looking to replace, looking at the spring, rather, is because their existing suspension isn't supporting the trailer like it used to. As you, no doubt, know, as leaf springs wear out, they can lose their arch and flatten out. That can cause the trailer to sit lower, bounce more over bumps, or generally feel less controlled while towing. So, replacing a worn spring is gonna restore the support and suspension movement needed to help absorb road chalk and keep your trailer riding properly.
So, the capacity of this spring individually is gonna be 2,950 pounds. When checking an old spring, the best measurement is going to be that center of eye to center of eye with the weight taken off of that old spring. Worn springs tend to flatten and get longer over time. So, any old spring may measure somewhat longer than the replacement it originally matched. This does have a standard tainted finish.
