A worn or missing spring bolt can throw your whole suspension off. This 5/8" diameter spring-eye bolt attaches the slipper spring securely to the front hanger or equalizer, giving your suspension the solid connection it needs. Built from Grade 5 steel, it’s tough enough to handle heavy trailer loads without flexing or stripping.
Loose suspension hardware leads to clunks and uneven wear. The included locknut keeps the bolt tight through road vibration and miles of use. Once installed, it stays snug so the spring can move freely without backing off or shifting out of alignment.
When you need the correct length for a solid fit, this bolt hits the mark. At 4" long with 11 threads per inch, it works perfectly with the 6-leaf slipper spring for 9,000-lb trailer axles (part 72-10-2). The threads run clean and true for easy installation and a secure clamp on the spring eye.
Swapping out old suspension hardware doesn’t have to be complicated. This bolt and locknut combo installs easily with standard tools, giving a clean replacement for worn factory bolts. It’s a straightforward fix that restores your suspension’s strength and keeps the ride stable mile after mile.
