Video Transcript for Review of TST TPMS Sensor - TPMS Boat Trailer Color Display Monitor 4 Sensors Booster - TST88FR

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this TST TPMS for your boat trailers. Now, blowouts and what that could do to your boat are probably always in the back of your mind every time you're heading out to launch your boat. With this system, you're not gonna have to worry about that as much. This TPMS kit is going to be a very easy way to keep an eye on everything that's going on with your tires on your boat trailer. This is gonna be able to alert you to blowouts, pressure changes, and temperatures that are exceeding 158 degrees with both visual and audible alarms.

This system is going to automatically refresh every 12 seconds to give you accurate current information, and this monitor is going to sit on your dash with either the suction cup mount that you see right here, and this is going to just attach like so, so it's gonna be a very strong connection there, and you're gonna be able to angle this whatever way is gonna work best for you, there's a suction cup there, or you can use my favorite way to mount this here is the cradle mount. So this is just gonna sit on your dash and then this is going to just slide right in just like that, and it's got a pretty tight hold on that. So you do have these two options, these two ways of doing that, that's going to be included with this kit. And this does have a full color display, so let me see if I can bring this up. Now my lights, my studio lights here are obviously very bright, so you're not gonna get the full demonstration of what the screen's gonna look like, but the screen is very clear, it's colorful, so you're gonna be able to really easily read this at a glance, and especially in low light conditions, it's going to look great.

So don't let the overly bright lights of my studio and the poor attempt of my camera to convey that fool you, it's a very nice display on here, a really nice color display. And so you can plug this into your vehicle's 12 volt accessory outlet with the included micro USB cord and a compatible plug right here and right now, it's currently running off of battery, and then you can add even more sensors. You are going to get four with this kit, but you can add more, so you can keep track up to four trailers and 115 tires, so you do have that capability of adding more. So if you've got several trailers that you own that you use to haul, you're gonna be able to add more sensors and use this monitor for all of those trailers and their tires as well. Now, these cap sensors are designed to be submersible, so you're gonna be able to use 'em on your boat trailer with no problems.

Their batteries are gonna last approximately four years, and these are only compatible with metal valve stems just so you're aware of that, and then this kit does come with this booster and that's going to help that signal from the sensor to guarantee that it's going to reach the monitor no matter how far your tire is from the cab, so that is included with this. And then just to give you some overall measurements of each of the important parts of this kit, looking at our monitor first, we're sitting at about four and five eighths inches long and then about three inches wide, and that's including the antenna here, and then the thickness about one and an eighth inch thick. And then our sensors, they're about one and a quarter inches in diameter, and then they're gonna sit about an inch tall from the stem that it's going to be mounted on. And the pressure range of these sensors is gonna be from zero to 218 PSI. And again, the battery life is typically 14 years.

And then on our booster counting the antenna here, this is gonna be about two and a half inches tall, and then from end to end, three inches wide and then about five eighths of an inch thick. Our cord here, the lead wire here about 57 inches long, so you got a good length of wire to run that to your power to power that signal booster. You're gonna get everything else that you see here on my table before me, so this is gonna be a great kit to use to keep track of the tires on your trailer.
