Building racks or frames for your trailer requires strong tubing that can handle load without flexing. This thick-walled aluminum rectangular tubing provides a rigid section you can cut and customize for your build.
If you're repairing a frame or building a new rack or support, matching the right size and thickness is important. This rectangular tubing is not trailer-specific. To get the right fit, you'll need to match it to your existing tubing by measurement. If you're replacing a section, measure your current tubing or mounting area and compare:
The size and wall thickness both affect how the tubing fits and how it handles load. Even small differences can prevent it from matching your existing structure or handling load as intended. If you're not sure, take a few measurements and photos of your current setup and reach out to etrailer support for help comparing options.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our P and F products, eight inch thick tube, rectangular shape. It's a trim for trailers and it's a two inch by one inch rectangular. Now folks, this is a thick wall, broke rectangular tubing. Once again, two inches on the long angle, one inch on the other angle, and of course, one eighth inch thick, all aluminum, and this is gonna be great and sturdy and rust proof. It's gonna be great thick wall for maybe building a ladder rack inside of your enclosed trailer and something of that nature.
And again, it is 93 and one half inches long. Folks, that's gonna wrap it up for a look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
