Video Transcript for Review of TecNiq Trailer Lights - Vertical License Plate Lamp - TN34TR

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this TecNiq License Plate Lamp. Now, you're gonna be able to keep your license plate clearly visible and DoT-compliant with this compact vertical-mount LED light. This is designed for trailers, RVs, and utility vehicles. This is going to give you powerful illumination in a small, durable package that's built to last. Now, this LED license plate light does meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and Department of Transportation Visibility Standards, and it does feature this vertical mount design that's going to fit easily on recessed or shallow surfaces.

And the rugged polycarbonate housing's going to extend just about two inches from the mounting surface, and it's completely sealed to resist impact, UV damage and moisture. And lemme go ahead and I'm gonna zoom out here real quick, and I'm gonna get my etrailer license plate here, try to make this as real as possible, and turn my studio lights off here. So, you can see with my lights off, and it is dark in my studio, just how bright this light is, and how effective it's gonna be, especially at a distance where you're gonna be able to see your license plate. I'm gonna go in for a closeup here, and just bring this into frame there for the closeup so you can get a better view of it. So, inside it has a textile urethane potting, so that's gonna protect the circuitry while an IP 68 rating's going to ensure total protection against dust and water.

Installation's gonna be pretty simple. I'm gonna go ahead and unplug, or disconnect this rather, from my power source here. This has a standard two wire hookup. The pigtail lead is, let me confirm that measurement here with you on camera. See if I can bring that up there into frame.

So the pigtail lead is almost, I'm gonna call it at what, eight and a quarter or so. So about eight and a quarter inches long. So once installed, you're gonna be able to count on over 100,000 hours of dependable performance. So two hole installation with the light, the housing is black, and just some measurements here off the cuff. So let's call this the overall length.

Pretty close to right about two and a half inches just end to end like that. And then the depth might be tricky to show you. About an inch. Height, about three quarters of an inch.
