Low light and long hauls can make visibility a challenge. This Optronics conspicuity tape uses a 7" silver and 11" red alternating pattern that stands out, keeping your truck or trailer clearly marked even at night. Once in place, this tape doesn’t peel or bubble up over time. The high-strength adhesive bonds tight with no grid lines or gaps that could let in water or dirt. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Optronics Conspicuity Reflective Tape. The alternating red and silver reflector tape makes your truck or trailer more visible in low light conditions. When it comes to the silver, that's going to measure 7 inches long, and then the red is going to measure 11 inches long. That's going to be the same throughout the entire tape roll. It's going to feature technologically advanced micro-prismatic designs that's going to provide superior long-distance visibility. It's also going to feature impact resistance.
What that means is that the unit is going to maintain performance, even through rough conditions. It will withstand high-pressure washing. It can be cut or riveted without damaging its ability to reflect light, and it's got that durable construction, which means no delamination. It's got a UV top coating that's designed to resist fading. It's going to protect the coloring of the unit. It's going to feature high-strength adhesive, so it's going to resist the edge of the tape area lifting.
The whole back side of it is going to measure 2-inch thick. This has 100% adhesion, so 100% of the tape is going to stick to the surface you're applying it to. There's no grid lines or pockets that can fill with water. That's going to be the most common cause of tape lift. You don't have to worry about that with this design. It is Department of Transportation compliant.
It's going to feature the Department of Transportation certification that's clearly marked directly on the tape, and it's going to easily apply to flat, round, or curved surfaces. It's made of a really nice, flexible, polyester metalized film, and it is repositionable. During the installation, it cures in 24 hours, so just keep that in mind. The entire tape roll length is going to be 150 feet long. It's going to measure 2 inches wide, and it's going to measure .008 inches thick.

Just what is needed to upgrade the safety of my trailer.
Identical to what I was replacing on my old trailer, heavy foil metal backing, they might last 20 years like my old ones did.
Instant stick and great reflective qualities. Last set lasted 4 years. All smiles here.
Seems to stick great and great reflectivity. I didn't realize it was cut in 12" sections. I had planned to used long pieces for the side of the trailer, but the 12" sections ended up working well, and may have been easier to apply.

Recently bought and refurbished trailer.
Reflective tape went on easily and has held well!
I was able to cut to size to fit between rails on trlr.
I included a pic. at this point the trlr has close to 2,000 miles on it since installed and has been pressure cleaned once and not one loose piece of reflective tape.
They are very well made, reflect great at night, and didn’t blow off going 70 mph on the interstate. What more could you ask
Going to lake and forgot to raise jack on trailer and bent jack at trailer and jack had a 45 degree slant / bend. replaced it with a " etrailer.com jack", more affordable than Walmart and Bass Pro !!!!!! Ordered reflective strips to place on back of boat motor , back of boat and trailer receiver. Etrailer.com prices are SO MUCH MORE lower than any other place I have found and / or shop at. With such a large inventory online, I'll be shopping here more often. AND shipping and service is FAST!!!!

Reflective tape well with only minimal light and sticks tight to applied surfaces. The perforations at 18" intervals makes it easy to install and helps eliminate wrinkles and bubbles you encounter with long strips.

Great reflecting tape! Though it was a little pricey, but was well worth the cost. Can see the trailers easily at night and avoid accident.
