Backing a boat trailer into storage gets old when the jack drags or fights tight turns. This swivel jack bolts to 2 in. to 4 in. frames, includes a 6 in. caster wheel, and pivots up for travel so you can move the trailer by hand. 1,000 lb capacity.
Moving a boat trailer through a garage, storage lot, or narrow driveway takes patience when the tongue refuses to track where you want it. This Trailer Valet jack uses a 6" caster wheel that swivels 360, helping the trailer roll and pivot with better control while you line things up. It makes small positioning adjustments easier when backing into storage, centering on the hitch ball, or working around tight spaces where there is very little room for correction.
A trailer jack that hangs low during towing is usually the first thing to complain when the trailer hits a steep driveway or uneven pavement. This swivel design lets the jack pivot down for use, then swing up once the trailer is hitched. That keeps the wheel out of the way during travel and gives the front of the trailer better clearance when pulling out of ramps, storage lots, or campsites.
The sidewind handle gives you a 7" radius for steady crank control while raising or lowering the trailer tongue. With a 1,000-lb lift capacity and 10" of screw travel, it handles common boat trailer tongue adjustments for hitching, unhitching, and trailer setup. The bracket height ranges from 13-1/2" retracted to 23-1/2" extended, giving you room to match the trailer height to your tow vehicle.
This jack uses a clamp-style mounting bracket that fits 2" to 4" tall trailer frames, so it can replace a worn jack without welding. Mounting hardware is included, helping keep the install focused on getting the trailer back into service instead of turning into a fabrication project halfway through the afternoon.
Boat trailers spend plenty of time around water, road spray, and damp storage conditions that can wear through weaker coatings. The clear zinc finish helps protect the jack from corrosion during regular trailer use, making it a better fit for boat trailers that see repeated trips to ramps, marinas, and shoreline parking areas.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Trailer Valet sidewind swivel boat jack with wheel. So this is a 1,000-pound sidewind swivel jack that's mainly aimed at boat, personal watercraft, utility, enclosed, and other lighter trailers. This is going to be a good option for you to consider if you're maybe replacing an old or worn out tongue jack, especially if you want to be able to move the trailer around by hand instead of having to lift and wrestle with the tongue. Now, one of the biggest benefits is going to be the wheel here.
This is roughly six inches in diameter and it's going to swivel 360 degrees, as you can see. So it's going to be able to roll and pivot the trailer when you're lining it up with the hitch, or you're maneuvering it into a garage or storage spot, rolls very easily. And that's actually one of the most common things that our neighbors here at etrailer who have bought the jack or a similar type of jack as this, mentioned about this is that maneuvering it is going to be very easy, especially if it's into a garage or a storage spot. And obviously, they found it easier to use or easier to maneuver the trailer than a stationary jack. As I mentioned, this jack has a 1,000-pound lift capacity, and you're going to get about 10 inches of travel with this jack.
Looking at the mounting bracket here, when this is fully retracted, as I have it now, from the center of the bracket all the way to the ground, it's going to be about 13 1/2 inches when this is fully retracted. And then when it's fully extended, again, from just about the center of the bracket to the ground, it's going to be about 23 1/2 inches when it's fully retracted. So the entire jack, again, when it's fully retracted from top to bottom is going to measure right at about 23 inches. And this uses this sidewind handle. And our neighbors mentioned frequently that this jack does crank smoothly.
And as you can see, it does indeed move up and down very smoothly. It doesn't take much effort to raise or lower the tongue. Several people have mentioned that they have replaced their cheaper or worn out jack with this one and they notice an immediate improvement over those older ones. Once the trailer is hitched, you're going to pull the spring-loaded pin that you can see right here, and that's going to allow you to rotate the entire jack up alongside the trailer, and then it's going to lock in place in that stowed position. So the idea there, as you know, is that's going to keep the wheel and the jack tube away from the ground while you're towing.
It's going to be especially useful on trailers where a permanently hanging jack could create a clearance problem on steep driveways or uneven ground. And this does include this weld-on mounting bracket. So that's going to make the installation straightforward and secure. Construction-wise, the steel has a clear zinc finish to help protect against corrosion. And that's going to make sense for a jack that may be used regularly around ramps and, boat ramps rather, and road spray and damp storage. The jack is serviceable as well. There's going to be an access point here, a grease Zerk where a lithium grease can be applied to lubricate the screw and internal mechanism. You might notice that the handle's kind of loose here. I just have it loosely attached. The way that I received this jack is I had to install the wheel and the handle, and then I was good to go. But I didn't tighten this down all the way. That's why it's kind of loose. But again, pretty straightforward. It's a high-quality jack for what it is. And again, it's going to be a pretty straightforward installation. If you want help with installation, since this is going to be a weld-on, on this product page underneath the photo section, we have a link that will take you to our Installer Locator. Click that link, answer the questions that it has for you. And that locator will find an installer in your area that etrailer has partnered with to get this installed for you. Well, again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
