Video Transcript for What to Know About the Phoenix Faucets RV Bathroom Vessel Sink Faucet

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Phoenix Faucets RV bathroom vessel sink faucet. This faucet is going to let you upgrade the bathroom vessel sink faucet in your RV or camper. And this is going to be a very simple installation, you're going to just drop the new faucet in place through the mounting hole of your existing faucet and then tighten down the included mounting hardware. And they provide this really great handy tool to help you tighten down the hardware. So hopefully, as you can see right here, you can see these posts here and then the hardware and then you just slide this tool up the post and then that's going to allow you to tighten that hardware. So it's going going to be a very easy, very simple installation and it's great that they include this tool with this faucet.

And then finally, you just need to connect the included hot and cold water lines. The use of tub and tire caulk may be required, depending on your particular insulation but that caulk is not included with this faucet. Now this features a single handle design with a lever-style handle and the ceramic disc cartridge is maintenance free and the durable long-lasting disc creates a watertight seal when the faucet is closed. This does have a flow rate of 1.2 gallons per minute. It is WaterSense certified and this high rise spout is tall enough to clear your vessel sink edge.

The distance from the countertop that this will be installed on to the aerator is right at 3 1/4 inches. Now you can add a matching pop-up drain and lift rod assembly. Of course that is sold separately, but if you wanted to install that you would just need to pull this rubber plug out and then you can just install that pop-up drain and lift rod assembly. So the functionality is available if you want to do that. Now this is of a durable zinc and zinc alloy construction with this chrome finish.

This chrome finish looks pretty sharp. I do want to point out though, that it does pick up fingerprints and smudges quite easily, so just be aware of that. You're going to be wiping this down quite a bit just to keep those smudges off. But we do also provide this in two other finishes. We have this in a matte black finish, which is pretty stylish, then also my favorite finish, brushed nickel.

And so if you are are interested in something other than chrome, you can find the matte black and the brushed nickel finish here on our website at etrailer.com. Now, I took some measurements of this faucet before our time together just so you can be sure that this is going to work for you. The overall height from the top of our faucet to the countertop that this will be installed on, we're sitting right at about 6 5/8 inches tall. The width of our base, we are sitting right at 6 3/8 inches wide and then the depth is 2 3/8 inches. And in regards to the spout length, I measured from the center of our faucet to the end of our spout and we we're sitting at almost 5 inches, right at 4 7/8 inches on that spout length. The water supply line size is half an inch male pipe thread. And this does include instructions to walk you through the very simple insulation process. Overall, I am very impressed with the build quality of this faucet. Obviously I do not have this connected to water but it was a very simple installation installing this on my demonstration table. So once you get this faucet, installation is going to be very quick and very easy and then you will be ready to go. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Fit & Finish is very good. Unlike OEM, this Faucet feels sold like a Faucet should. Installation is as easy as it can be.

by:

Like the new faucet, big improvement over the old two handle one

by:

I purchased this single handle faucet to replace the RV manufacturer’s low rise faucet. It works very well. It mixes hot and cold water efficiently, and has the rise needed to allow for full functionality of our small bathroom sink. It is easy to keep clean also.

by:

Well made product and looks great. Love that it has one handle, it's replacing the original faucet in a 1994 RV. Matches the sink we bought perfectly and was easy to install and work perfectly. Pictures are before and after installation of both sink and faucet we purchased.

by:

This was a perfect replacement for a faucet that broke. Very high quality faucet.

by:

This faucet is a great upgrade to the plastic, two-handled faucet that came with our Imagine Grand Design. This faucet is metal, so it's easier to clean and it looks much nicer than the stock handle. My favorite feature is the single handle, so you can more easily adjust the water temperature. It sounds silly, but I absolutely HATED trying to get the water temp right with the double-handled faucet.

Install was quick and easy. It took me all of about 10-15 minutes to remove the old faucet, clean the countertop, and then install the new faucet. I did take the advice on one of the videos and added a small bead of clear silicon to prevent water leaks to the subcounter.

Shipping was FAST. I paid for expedited shipping to make sure the faucet would arrive in time for our next trip, and the faucet was delivered a day earlier than promised.

by:

Product right on time as promised. I was presently surprised on how much better the quality was compared the ones in my motorhome. I wanted to go from a two handle faucet to a single faucet one, but didn’t want to have to deal with splicing or cutting the water lines or having to add additional fittings and having extra tubing I would then need to try and bend and keep out of the way under the sink cabinet. This faucet had the 2” x 1/2 npt connectors so I was able to just attach my water lines w/o any addition fittings or lines. Perfect fit once old ones were out these went right in w/o any issues.

by:

We're very happy with this faucet! Our original camper faucet was short and low, giving us no room to wash our hands. This metal faucet looks great and has improved the washing clearance for us. The installation was very easy since it was exactly the same layout as original, and it should serve us well for years to come.

by:

Lav faucet was an excellent RV upgrade with new sink. Flow is excellent and easily adjust to save water when needed.

by:

Great product and excellent service. This unit is a great upgrade over the Orem faucet.

by:

Purchased to replace a smaller dual handle faucet in our 5th wheel 1/2 bath. Simple to replace and nice quality for an RV faucet.

by:

Very substantial faucet for a camper! Customer service at Etrailer is second to none & we are very pleased with tbis purchase!

by:

Excellent! Love my new faucet! Can finally find the warm without so much water wasting. Added to a new sink also from here. Thank you etrailer!

by:

Asking for a review before I have installed it. That will be awhile as unit is in CO and I'm in AZ. Can tell it is better than original item as this one has brass fitting and original one had plastic. Should do just fine.

by:

Nice upgrade over our original faucet. Smooth operation and great water flow all at a decent price. Thanks etrailer.

by:

Perfect replacement and fit. Still going strong.

by:

Easy to swap out from two knob faucet. Much better control of flow and temperature with single lever.

by:

This hybrid model should be the standard in every RV

by:

It works well in my RV It has a nice feel to it. Not cheap feeling.

by:

Both faucets were a huge upgrade from OEM. both work smoothly and feel like a quality residential faucet. the kitchen faucet went in without a hitch, no problems and works great. The bathroom was a bit more involved. Turns out the threaded attachments on the new one are about an eighth inch shorter than the OEM which wouldn't allow the water line fittings to tighten enough. I had to mill about a sixteenth off the mounting nuts and some off the Pex couplings to get enough threads to allow them to tighten enough. After that all is good.

by:

Very easy install and works great!

by:

This works perfectly in my motorhome. Great replacement for my bathroom faucet.

by:

Installed no problem. Like the metal feel waaaaaay better than standard plastic ones. After install loaned rig to my brother. The fittings were leaking the whole time. Just check and recheck water lines for tightness and leaks until the seals settle.

by:

It fit perfectly and works great in our rv. A plus from the original plastic faucet. Easily installed too.

by:

Good product, easy install and 1 yr later is perfroming as I would hope.
