Tpday, we're going to be taking a look at part number YR800B. This is the Yates Blue Keel Roller for boat trailers. It's designed to replace one keel roller on your trailer. It's going to ease the loading and unloading of your boat. It's going to support the bottom of the boat as it sits on the trailer. It's going to help absorb road shock while the boat is being towed during travel.
This is constructed TPR technology, that's thermal plasticized rubber. That's a non-marking, non-scratching material, stronger and more durable than your traditional rubber and it's going to be softer and more pliant than polyurethane. The product is made in the USA. Take a look at the dimensions real quick starting with the length. That's going to give us a measurement of about 7 3/4 inch and then the diameter measuring this point right here from edge to edge, that's going to give us a measurement, looks to be about 3 1/8 inch in diameter. This is designed for 8-inch wide brackets with a 5/8 inch diameter shaft.

The Yates keel roller mounted and looks great but my main reason for taking time to write this review was the customer service I received from Michelle S. I made a mistake on my internet order. I called the next day when I reviewed the order confirmation and realized my mistake. Michelle stopped the first order, revised my parts list and I received the parts in 3 days. I will go back to etrailer with my next order.
Nobody else had these good looking blue rollers for my trailer...except etrailer.com. The bow roller was easy to install in about 5-10 minutes of time. The etrailer.com customer service is excellent!

I always prefer to buy American made products and this Yates keel roller is Made in USA. This roller will replace the original black rubber roller that came on my 1988 Shorelander boat trailer. Except when I put the boat in the water, the boat is sitting on the trailer. Over time the original roller developed a "flat spot" and would not roll. I expect this durable synthetic roller will keep its shape. I like the color.
