Thanks for all the information Allen! The Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers item # YR800B is going to be the right one for your McClain trailer. It actually requires a 5/8" roller shaft. The Roller Shaft with Cap Nuts item # CE10725A is the correct one.
The Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers item # YR800B is an 8" long, V-style replacement roller made from durable TPR that cushions the boat hull without leaving marks. The 5/8" inner diameter shaft has an internal steel sleeve and nylon end caps to ease loading, absorb road shock, and prevent flat spots.
The Roller Shaft with Cap Nuts item # CE10725A is 8-7/8" long and has a 5/8" diameter. It is made of zinc-plated steel to protect against rust and corrosion. The included caps will need to be installed using a mallet or a hammer with a piece of wood.
How do you typically use your 22' Alweld boat? Is it just primarily for fishing or do you hunt out of it too? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
