If you need a solid cover to keep your gear safe from weather and theft, this one delivers. The fiberglass-reinforced plastic panels have a honeycomb-patterned internal structure that makes them strong and durable. With a 200-lb weight capacity when evenly distributed, it can handle everyday loads while still folding easily. The textured matte black finish keeps it looking clean and low-profile at just 1" above the bed rails.
You get the security of a hard cover without losing access to your bed space. The tri-fold design opens from the tailgate using pinch levers on either side, so you can load or unload gear quickly. When folded forward, it gives access to about three-quarters of the bed, and when you need the full space, it can be removed completely in minutes.
Rain, sleet, or snow—your cargo stays protected. The built-in weather seals along the edges block water without needing drain tubes or extra parts. It shuts securely whether the tailgate is open or closed, keeping out water and road grime even through heavy use.
There are no external locks or keys to worry about. The cover’s release levers are located under the panels and can only be accessed when the tailgate is open. Once your tailgate is locked, the cover locks with it—keeping everything underneath out of sight and secure.
No drilling, no special tools—just clamp it to the inside of your bed rails and you’re done. The lightweight composite panels make it easy to position during install, and once tightened down, it sits flush and solid with no gaps or rattles.

Randy, I had our manufacturer take a look at the pictures that were sent and asked about the weather stripping. What was recommended is to use the weather stripping that came in a roll. Either one will work however go with the one in the roll. As for the openings that you are seeing, they are normal. If you find that you have excessive water entering the truck bed please let us know.
