When you need to keep your gear safe from rain and sun, the Revolver X2 holds up. Its 1/4" thick, aircraft-grade aluminum slats are covered with textured black vinyl that resists UV damage, impacts, and bad weather. Even though it looks like a soft cover, it can’t be cut through like one, and it supports up to 400 lbs of evenly distributed weight when closed. Rubber seals line the rails, cab, and tailgate to help keep out water so your cargo stays dry.

When you need the full bed for large cargo, just pull the release cable and roll up the cover. The Revolver X2 rolls evenly every time thanks to its hinged aluminum slats. Built-in nylon straps and plastic buckles secure it behind the cab while you drive, and four rubber bumpers keep it from touching the cab. Because it mounts inside the bed rails, you still have access to stake pockets for tie-downs or rack mounts.

You don’t need to wrestle with snaps or Velcro. Just roll out the cover and press down on the rear slat at the tailgate. The latches automatically engage along both sides, locking the cover down from front to back. When you close and lock your tailgate, the bed and cover are both secure. To open it again, drop the tailgate and pull either of the two release cords—both sides release at once for quick access.

Unlike bulkier covers that sit high above the rails, this one sits nearly flush for a smooth, factory look. The aerodynamic design helps reduce wind drag while driving, which can also help with fuel mileage. The matte black finish blends in nicely and stays tight without sagging or rippling over time.

Installing the Revolver X2 is straightforward and tool-light. The aluminum frame rails clamp to the inside of the bed rails—no drilling needed. Pre-installed shims and slotted brackets make it easy to get everything squared up, so once you tighten the bolts for the front hinge rail, it’s ready to use without extra adjustments.

Hi Laura - I am still pleased with my BAK bed cover. I dont like it quite as well as the previous version I had on my other 2013 Nissan Frontier truck which got stolen, hence the new cover, but I am still pleased with the product. The new cover doesnt roll or latch quite as smoothly as the old one, but it still works well. They also slightly changed the clips for anchoring the rolled up cover, and I find them harder to clip in and maintain tension on the strap, but again they do work. Thanks for following up.

Its still holding up well and it looks as good as it did the day I installed it. I have no regrets about making this purchase.

My judgment has not changed. This cover is still excellent. If I ever get a different truck, this will be among my first accessory purchases.

Well, not so happy with the product. The carpeting fell off on the underside of the cover. Also the right side of the cover towards the tailgate shrank. Its been a few months since I started to have those issues and should of contacted you earlier for warranty. Hopefully its not too late for a warranty claim.

I am sorry to hear that this cover is not working out for you. Would you be able to send a picture of where the vinyl is separating from the aluminum?

I am sorry to hear about your experience with this cover. It is a BAK industries product that makes the revolver covers, did your not have the logo on the left side by the tailgate? What kind of truck did you install this on?
Do you have a question about this Tonneau Cover?
