Yes, the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack - 1,250 lbs # TH43002XT-782 will fit your 2020 GMC sierra 1500 with the 5-3/4' bed. This ladder rack mounts on top of the bed rails which makes it compatible with most tonneau covers that install inside the bed rails. This said, I recommend going with the BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover - Roll Up # BAK39130 as this is the only tonneau cover that we can 100% say will work with the Thule TracRac.
The BAK Revolver X2 has the durability of a hard cover, but the flexibility and convenience of a soft cover since it can roll up. This cover also does not block the rear window visibility when rolled up, whereas folding hard covers will typically block some of the rear window. The Revolver X2 installs very simply by clamping onto the bed rails, requiring no drilling. I attached a couple demonstration videos for you.
