This is a heavy duty, rock solid, high quality box that is perfectly sized for any equipment trailer. I put 4 chains, 4 binders, lug wrench, tools, and a jack, and had room left over. The paint system is very thick, durable and looks like it could last forever. Would buy again!

The tool box worked out better than expected. It was a perfect fit for the space available on my trailer. Installation was easy. Worked out great for the superwinch s7500 that I previously purchased from etrailer. Last time I went to the race track my car broke down. Luck for me I had a lot of people to help me push the car onto the trailer. I frequent the track by myself often so the need for a winch and tool box was a must. etrailer had everthing i needed to have me ready for my next track event. Christin S and Kristin J helped me find exactly what i needed. They even helped me expedite my order and got it to me the very next day in the morning. The RC T-Series Trailer Tongue Tool Box 2.6 Cu Ft is very well built box.I installed this box on our 3500 lb tandem axle trailer. I have four 12 ft 1/4" binder chains, four chain binders, two jack stands, two heavy duty cinch straps, & bar to pull binders down. There is still plenty of room for more items. I'm happy with the box although I think it is pricey. If you're going to install on on a heavier equipment trailer I would recommend going with the 5.2 cu ft for a $100.00 extra. All in all very satisfied.

The workmanship and hardware on the toolbox is excellent. Installed and fit perfectly on the tongue of my cargo trailer.
Perfect size for a spare battery, jumper cables, tire jack and tie downs.
Was going to buy a box where I bought my trailer. The salesman said buy it online from etrailer they have better boxes at a better price. Excellent advice.

Based on pictures I can see of these Big Tex 60pi trailers, there is a good amount of open space on the tongue. I don't offer anything specifically designed for your situation, with the low sidewalls (more of a lip, really) on your Aluma 6810. You could use something such as the CE Smith # CE27310G but you'd need to devise your own way to mount it to the trailer sidewall, probably by through-bolting it. The RC Manufacturing T-Series Trailer Tongue Tool Box part # 350980 has a black powder coated finish. Powder coated finishes are usually not as smooth as painted finishes.
