Good afternoon, Keethe; that's a very good question! In regard to the etrailer Trailer Tongue Tool Box 3.4 Cu Ft # e64VV, I'd say it has similar build quality and features when compared to other options such as RC Manufacturing T-Series Trailer Tongue Tool Box 2.6 Cu Ft # 350980 or UWS A-Frame Trailer Toolbox 2.9 cu ft # UWS04531. These 3 options all have a black powder coat finish, a locking mechanism with key, and weathertight seal to keep the inside dry.

The main difference is the price point; we designed the etrailer tool box with low overhead so that we can offer it as a high quality option for a fraction of the price. This is the one I'd go with, personally. It is also the lightest of the bunch - etrailer box weighs 15.9lbs, UWS box weighs 29lbs, RC box is steel and weighs 50lbs.
