Transporting fluids around the farm or to the job site can be a logistical nightmare; especially if you need to haul some cargo in your truck bed along with those fluids. If you're looking for a safe and convenient way to transport Non-Flammable fluids while still leaving room in your truck bed for cargo check out the Dee Zee long rectangle transfer tank.
Constructed of rugged high-quality Brite-Tread aluminum for a classic styling that defines toughness. A radius curve design eliminates key welding points making this thing as durable as it is functional.
Don't let transporting fluid slow you down. Surging is a major concern when transporting higher volumes of fluids. The effect that fluid can have on your vehicle as it slams from one side of the tank to the other can be down right dangerous when driving.
Our transfer tank features 3 stability baffles to decrease the effects of fluid sloshing and surging within the tank during transport.
A lockable cap adds a layer of security, while a 0.375" drainage plug and venting coupler make it easy to drain your tank whenever needed.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Dee Zee Aluminum Rectangle Specialty Series Truck Bed Transfer Tank. Now, this is a truck bed mounted liquid transfer tank that's made for hauling non-flammable liquids in your pickup truck. And so, this is gonna work with things like diesel fuel, water, antifreeze, or similar fluid. But it is important to note right up front that this tank is not designed or approved for gasoline, and it's not meant to be used as an auxiliary fuel system. But overall, this tank is gonna be best suited for personal or work use when you need to transport non-flammable liquids safely and conveniently.
And this is going to be commonly used by people using, or, hauling diesel equipment, and you're gonna need that diesel fuel for that equipment. And this will be great for, like I mentioned as well, using this for water on the job sites, or livestock, or other utility fluids. Now, before we go on any further, let me give you some measurements here just so you have a good idea of the size. So looking at the overall width, we're sitting pretty close to 56 inches, maybe just a hair over 56 inches. And then measuring end of bracket to end of bracket, I'm gonna say right at, about 58 and a quarter inches, if I can get my tape measure to hold there.
Actually, let me change that to about 58 and a half inches end of bracket to end of bracket. And then looking at the width, pretty close to 10 inches, I'm gonna say about nine and three quarters inches or so. The height, about 19 inches. If you add that fuel cap top, maybe close to about, a little over 21 inches or so. So those are the basic measurements, and hopefully that'll give you a good idea if this will work for your particular application.
This tank is built from heavy duty diamond plate aluminum, so this is gonna be strong, it's gonna be corrosion resistant obviously, and it's gonna be relatively lightweight for its size. This holds about 40 gallons, which is gonna be a good balance between capacity and keeping plenty of usable space in the bed of your truck. Inside of the tank, there are internal baffles which are gonna help control the movement of the liquid while you're driving. So that means less sloshing around, better stability, and reduced stress on the tank and mounting points. And then on top here, we do have a lockable fill cap with a vent helping prevent spills and allowing proper airflow.
And you can move the cap over to here if you wanna swap out which end that you use. You would just take this, well, it's not permanent, but you would just take this cap out, move it over there, and then put the fill cap over here. So, you're not restricted just to one size, which is nice. So, very easy to use. And I think it's gonna be really easy to install as well, this does include the hardware, and you are also going to get instructions to guide you through that installation process. And there is a drain plug built in as well. I don't know if you saw that during our first go around here, but our drain plug is right here, so it's gonna be very easy to empty this or clean this out when needed. And then it, I did mention, the brackets here or the mounting tabs that are included, so you're gonna be able to securely fasten this to the bed of your truck rather than just having to sit loose. Again, that's where the hardware is gonna come in play. So if you're looking for a rugged, straightforward transfer tank for the purposes that we mentioned at the beginning of our time together, and just so you're aware of the fact that this is not for gasoline, it's gonna be a great option for you to consider if it meets all the specs that you're looking for. Well, if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this tank or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out, because ultimately we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
