The tool box, which is bolted to the transfer tank, is made up of one piece of steel with welded ends. By minimizing the amount of welding that goes into the box's construction, DeeZee diminishes the opportunity for cracks and leaks to form, thereby reducing the risk of tool box corrosion and damage to your stored items. A closed-cell foam gasket offers additional protection from water, and the specially designed, crowned lid boasts a half-pan stiffener that makes it extra strong.
Easy Opening and Closing
The tool box section is designed with locking paddle handles and guide plates. Simply release one of the handles to get into the tool box. An integrated lock deters theft of your belongings and is operated with the provided keys. To close the tool box, simply push down on the reinforced lid.

The DeeZee Specialty Series Transfer Tank/Toolbox Combo part # DZ92647 measures 46-3/4" long x 32-3/4" wide x 25-3/8" tall. If you have space for this box inside the truck bed that is free from interference with the gooseneck trailer then you are good to go. There are no issues in and of itself with using this box with a gooseneck trailer but you will need to have sufficient clearance for the trailer to both couple and turn.

We have a couple of transfer tank/toolbox combos you could use in your 2013 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed. Both are 18 inches front to back, # DZ92740X and # DZ91740S. Using that 18 inch measurement you can determine if there is space enough or if the tank/box would be too close for the coupler to fit or turn.
