Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this DeeZee Specialty Series 55-gallon white steel square truck bed transfer tank. Now, this is a 55-gallon liquid transfer tank, and this is designed to mount into the bed of your pickup truck. You can confirm the fitment of this tank to your truck bed by going through our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer. Just insert the year, make, and model of your vehicle and answer any other questions that it might have for you and our fit guide will confirm if this tank will work for you in the bed of your particular truck.
Now, this is built specifically for transporting non-flammable liquids. So this is not designed for gasoline, and this is not considered an auxiliary fuel tank that feeds directly into your truck's fuel system. Obviously, this tank has a square design. This measures 24 inches wide, 24 inches long, and 24 inches tall. This is made from steel, (hand thudding) and this is finished in DeeZee's white NRT, no-rust technology, powder coat.
That's going to help protect this from rust and corrosion. And that's gonna be especially important if this is going to be exposed to the elements in the bed of your truck. Inside of the tank, there are stability baffles. That's gonna help reduce sloshing while you're driving, and it's going to help improve safety and keep the load more stable. I'm giving you an overhead look here just so you have a good view of the top of this tank.
And you are going to get this lockable cap here. I just wanted to take that off there real quick. You're gonna be able to choose which hole to use here. So I just installed it on this side here, and then this actually came with this cap in that hole, so I just removed that and then put this in there. So, again, you're gonna have the ability to choose where you want to put the gas cap at.
And you might have already seen, let me go for a lower, closer view here, you also have a drainage plug here for maintenance. And this has a venting system, and that's gonna help manage pressure inside the tank. So this is going to mount directly to the floor of your truck bed, and I'm showing you the brackets on this side here. Hardware is going to be included to help you get this installed into place, and you're also going to get instructions to guide you through that installation process.
