Why Can't Curt Wiring Harness Connect To 12V Outlet/Cigarette Plug On 2025 Hyundai Tucson

Question:
Why isnt there an option for the harness to get power and ground by plugging into the cigarette power plug temporarily or permanently? Tucson 2025 Hyundai hybrid. Having to run wires to the front seems a lot of effort for small trailer and infrequent trailer use.

Hi Me; those 12V outlets are not designed for that kind of power draw. If you use that circuit to install the Curt # C43FV you will likely overload the circuit and damage your vehicle wiring. I don't think you want to have to repair that and have dead trailer wiring, so I recommend running the hot lead directly to the battery.
