Mounted the spare tire out back putting it in the direct sun. That was after finding out how hard it was to get to when it was mounted under the motor home. This cover keeps the sun off the tire. The unit is stored under a shelter. But it is open ended and that puts the tire in the direct sun. This cover protects the tire from the sun and has worked well.
My 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan has a donut spare tire, and it is
difficult to get to. So, I bought a full size rim and tire to have a ready
spare in case of flats. Since there is nowhere to mount the spare,
we carry it in the well inside the hatchback door. To make it more
attractive I bought the tire cover from etrailer. The cover is just what
I was looking for, and it is much more durable than I thought it would
be, judging by the inexpensive cost. It covers the tire like a glove, and blends in very well with the black interior. It arrived in short order after I ordered online, and is excellent quality. Thank you etrailer for great service and a great product at an affordable cost.

As of today, the tire cover on my trailer has hardened and cracked. Last used 2 months ago and it was OK so I guess 1 yr 8 months is the life span.
It was. I gave it a 5-star review
So far so good. Fits really nicely and the material is heavier (which is good) than I thought it would be.

I was impressed with the covers I bought, how they were made and the thickness of the material, and they went over my horse trailer tires without a problem but, the elastic ban/string that wraps around the bottom of the tire's which holds down the cover is difficult to reach around the tire and attached each elastic end ......so I didn't
Fits perfect. Been a year and it's holding up well.
Ordering the right tire cover can be tricky. The tables & charts e-trailer provided me made the difference along with one HELLUVA deal & not to mention that it fit like a glove. The underneath elastic strap clip makes this a great product!

Need to purchase another one alike. Wifes cat clawed it but still works great.
Very nice fits great easy to use.
Easy to install and appears that it will hold up ok. Have not taken it for a drive yet so the proof will be after a day on the road.
Looks good.It doesn't cover much of the inside of the tire,so I hope it doesn't catch wind and blow off.I'm happy with it as long as it lasts.Quick shipping too.Thanks...
I received my Classic spare tire cover in good shape. My application is different than the usual spare tire mounted on the side or back. I have a toy hauler 5th wheel trailer to which I reversed the leaf springs and now it sits 6" higher. Its a triple axle so its a big boy. I want to carry two spares so I double stacked them under the rear where the single spare sits. I wanted a cover to protect the bottom spare from the normal things that ruin an exposed tire in addition to being down by the ground where everything flies up on onto the spare. It is mounted upside down. It fits very tight so water cant get it and collect but if it does down the road, I will poke a very small hole in the center to have a drain. It fits like a glove, looks great and does exactly what I needed it to do. The two hooks that hold the elastic cord together around the tire is a great idea and works very well. Thx again and as usual, etrailer came thru!!
Spare tire cover appears well constructed and fit was very good. Everything as was advertised.

Cover has performed well.
It's been a year since I ordered a couple of these. So far so good! I put my trailers through a lot of use-near water, in the sun, etc. We'll see how this holds up to the UV rays out here in Colorado, but it's been a good fit and no problems so far!

Still on my trailers!
I purchased this solid black vinyl spare tire cover for a ST235/80R16 tire and it fits nice and securely around this size tire without any adjustment. The cover is a "Large" (fits 30-33 in. wheel diameter) and is made in China by Classic Accessories of polyvinyl chloride with a laminated white knit polyester backing on the inside of the tire cover. It has what looks like a 1/8th inch bungee cord sewn around the edge of the cover with two plastic hooks that hook together. They do not clamp or "lock" together, just hook together on the back side of the spare tire. The hooks seem like they can be adjusted by untying the knot that holds each hook and pulling the cord tighter then re-tying the knot to make it more secure around the tire (which may require you to take the cover off the tire to perform this task). There wasn't any "extra" cord on each hook to allow decreasing the tension if you have a larger tire. It seems to be more than adequate at this time to protect the spare tire (cover says it offers UV protection) and looks nice on the back of my RV fifth wheel. It come with a 3 year limited warranty, so either register it after you receive it or don't loose your receipt if you need to get warranty service later. I'm pleased with the purchase at this time and will see how it handles the Texas sun!
Had tire cover for about a year. Never garaged, seems to be holding up very well. Good fit.

Bought this for the spare, they are tight and I had to use some baling twine to get the snaps together, may not be the product but how my spare is mounted on the trailer hard to get fingers between the mounting bracket and the tire. time will tell if it will last but I expect it to. The tire is mounted under the gooseneck so direct sunlight and have not hauled yet to see how it stays on.
Very nice cover. The all black, somewhat shiny, Vinyl material feels decently thick and supple with a nice white felt inner lining. I just slipped it over my original 03 blazer ZR2 spare tire cover which was faded and cracking. I kept it on and just put this cover over it because the original has about an 8 inch wide strip of material that covers the upper part of the spare tire facing the tailgate. This cover slipped over the 31 inch diameter tire and old cover easily and fits great. So far, couldn't be happier. A great value.
I love this tire cover. I have a gooseneck flatbed trailer that uses a different size tire than most 5th wheels or travel trailers. The spare tire rides on the top of the gooseneck and is totally exposed to the sun. I measured the size and it fits perfectly and the black matches the rest of the trailer very nicely. I like that this cover arrived in four days and was well packed when it arrived.
Although this cover is not for a trailer or RV, it' to cover the spare tire in the back of my 1 ton Chevy dually. The truck has been lowered, and cannot carry the spare under the truck, in it's normal position and it's attached in the bed of the truck. I wanted to make it look as good as possible, and Etrailer had the tire cover I wanted at a great price. and the cover was a quality cover and will withstand the elements.
I use it on my gooseneck spare to protect from sunlight. It fit well. I remove it when on the road.

Purchased this tire cover for my fifth wheel spare size ST23580R16. Ordering was extremely easy and product was delivered in a very timely manner. Im very impressed with the quality and fit of this tire cover. The cover fits very tight and I have no worries it will come off at highway speeds. The cover has a soft cloth inside next to the tire. I highly recommend this item.
