Features to know about

Stay Level Under Front-End Load: 14,000-lb Capacity Support

When heavy equipment like a snowplow or bumper rack weighs down the front end, steering and braking can feel off. The Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 14,000 lbs of load-leveling support to keep your vehicle stable and level. Its hollow rubber springs take on the extra weight so your suspension doesn’t sag, helping maintain proper headlight aim and tire wear even when the front axle is fully loaded.

Smooth Out Rough Roads: Hollow Rubber Spring Cushioning

Front-end weight isn’t the only challenge—rough roads and potholes can wear down your suspension fast. Timbren’s hollow rubber springs absorb most of the road shock before it reaches the cab. The rubber’s elasticity softens harsh impacts and reduces bottoming out on uneven ground, giving you a smoother, more controlled ride when loaded.

Stay Steady in Crosswinds and Turns: Independent Spring Action

When a curve or uneven load tries to throw your vehicle off balance, each Timbren spring works independently to keep its side planted. That helps cut down on body roll and sway during cornering or when carrying off-center loads. The result is steadier handling and better control when maneuvering through traffic or along winding roads.

Get Reliable Support Without Air Lines or Adjustments: Simple Bolt-On Design

This system bolts on in place of your factory bump stops—no drilling, air hoses, compressors, or gauges required. The included vehicle-specific brackets and hardware make setup straightforward with basic tools. Once installed, the springs automatically react to changing weight, providing constant support without any manual adjustments or maintenance.

Video Transcript for Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System-T57SR Spec Review

Hello, friends. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look together at the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System. Now this suspension enhancement is a custom-fit and I'm gonna go ahead and put up on the screen the fit guide here for you. This fits 2021 to current Ford F-150 4-wheel drive vehicles. Now, with anything here at etrailer.com, please go to our website etrailer.com, use our fit guide in the middle of the screen on the homepage, put in your year, make and model information to make sure you get the right fit for your particular vehicle.

Now, this system will improve suspension and handling by preventing body roll with improved weight distribution. It's gonna help stabilize the vehicle for better handling of heavy loads and it adjusts progressively to the road and to the load you're carrying so that you're always gonna have a smooth, comfortable ride. Now, they will provide additional support as needed and they will allow the spring ample movement while at the same time providing cushioning for your light loads. They do increase stability and great performance while cornering, swerving or hauling large loads. And these guys are gonna take the blunt of the bumps in the road, rough roads, that kind of stuff.

They will extend the life of your vehicle suspension and they are designed to work with a suspension system that's already in good work in order. So make sure you don't have any rust or bent parts underneath there before you install these. Now, the good thing with these are they are a no-drill-required kit. They require no air hoses, compressors, manual adjustments, that kind of stuff. I'm gonna put this down so we don't drop it here and show you a closeup.

So you're gonna get the two brackets. This particular one is the left-hand side. It's got a sticker on the back to help you know which one's which. They both include a Aeon Hollow Rubber Spring, that is again, vehicle specific and the brackets and all the hardware needed to mount it. And this guy here, I believe is a hose-protector as well.

So that'll probably go around a brake hose or something like that. Now, always check your instructions and make sure you're installed these correctly. It's got a nice black powder coated finish. They are heavy-duty steel and they have a limited lifetime warranty and a satisfaction guarantee. They are rated at 14,000 pounds capacity. Never exceed your vehicle's weight-carrying capacity. Make sure you're always staying, all right, that rated. They do replace your axle bump stop on the frame. So again, these are gonna go into place of where those went. So again, very nice install, very nice quality product. If you've ever used their products, you know they make high-quality stuff. Well, that's gonna do it for our look at the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System for the 2021 to current F-150 4-wheel drives. I'm Steve, have a great day.

I have a very heavy "Cattle Guard" on the front of my RAM 3500 and this combined with the heavy 4WD and diesel engine the extra support from the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System definitely keeps the front suspension from bottoming out.

by:

The bump stoppers are solid and the directions for installation were clear, even for DIY. The Ford F53 chassis for the Entegra Emblem is challenging to navigate. We found two sets of hands worked best. And installing the bolt from the top of the frame with the washer and nut below worked best.

The Timbrens take the bottoming out of the suspension away on rough roads. Also takes some of the sway away. Pretty easy to install.

by:

A+++ Excellent product and customer service. Bought both front and rear suspension enhancements and worth it. Highly recommend.

by:

I like using Etrailer because i can call and talk to a person. These front ones went in pretty easy just like directions said. and they got rid of the bad bumping sound in my front end after hitting a bump. smoothed things right out.

by:

The timbrens actually did what they were suppose to do. However, once I starter driving out west I notice the timbrens were riding on the axle which cause the speedometer to jump around depending on the road. I would recommend them if you are hauling or towing a camper or RV. I was going to contact etrailer about maybe removing a spacer for one set however the other set came as one unit. The bottom line is the Timbrens does stabilize your load for safe travels. I will be contacting etrailer soon to assist in correcting the problem...Road trip from Idaho,Colorado,Wyoming, and Utah were beautiful... Thank you etrailer

by:

Installation was not too hard, Install Videos explain all steps in great detail. BumpStops arrived in excellent condition and was delivered in a timely manner

by:

I had a problem with getting front sumo springs relative to the rear sumo springs I purchased earlier; however, the staff at etrailer were very helpful in getting me a suspension enhancement component made by timbren which I just installed. I believe the timbren supports are going to do the job I was looking for and make me just as happy as I am with the rear sumo springs. You will notice from the photos the supports make direct contact; however, the pictures were taken on a unlevel surface and when the truck is on a level surface the direct contact is equal on either side. Also, the timbren supports provide substantially more weight capacity in the event I choose to haul my scooter on the front end of the truck. Thanks again Derek S and etrailer staff I am very pleased with the service, customer relations and professionalism experienced when ordering my parts. Thank you, Bobby (Louisiana).

I installed Timbren’s front and rear on my 2020 F53 chassis motorhome. They are by far the best suspension upgrade I have done. I had previously installed Super Steer Trac Bar, Radius Rods and Safe-T-Plus, which had helped, but not as much as I had hoped. The Timbren’s finalized the package and it drives good now.

by:

Easy install, didn't even need the brackets for my application. Really helped with sidesway in the wind and seems to help the front from dipping with extra weight. Haven't tried plowing snow yet but I think they will make a major difference

by:

Ok it’s been a year since I’ve had the springs and I’m impressed. With how easy the install is and what you get out of it these are truly amazing. No more “squishy” feeling when towing my 22fy travel trailer. The ride is a little bumpy but I don’t care. I’m glad I found these.

by:

For me surprisingly easy to install at 67 years old. Had immediate handling improvement and steering control.

by:

Have them on several trucks now and couldn't imagine running snow plows without anymore.

by:

The front Timbren are working very good. The rear not so good

by:

Install was straightforward. Hardest part was getting the old bump stops out. Sway was greatly reduced on the Interstate and the rock and roll by passing semis was greatly reduced. Wish I had bought these sooner!

by:

Pretty pricey but well worth it. Put these all the way around at the same time as new rear leaf springs on our c7500 topkick and it made a huge difference. It's a top heavy bucket truck and it would rock and roll just turning a corner to the point it was downright scary. Now thats greatly reduced. They also smoothed out the ride especially when loaded more than I expected.
Install was simple, perfect fit. Worst part was grinding out the rivet on the old bracket

by:

These bumpstops really work, they stop the front end vibration before it travels through the shocks and springs, for a smooth ride

by:

I haven/t installed them yet. I think I should have gotten a discount for the age of the "box"s the Timbrens were in. May be a credit ,, Brad

by:

I love these things. They are worth the upfront expense. I have them on two ¾'s, one ½, and a minivan for road trips. This particular set is full-time active up front. I have a 2" leveling kit and I'm in em no matter what. Zero complaints though. Solid performance through all aspects. I don't run any front-end attachments.

by:

I have a 2006 Kodiak 2 wheel drive. Timbrin firmed up the front end to much. There in full contact with the spring. I think it to stuff and I might be removing them. The install was straight forward. Parts are as expected and quality of Timbrin is great. Just not enough cush..

by:

Great ordering, shipping time, cost, and supporting information. We added a snow plow and the product did everything as advertised.

You can find the pictures on the product page under "In Use/Installed" and "Customer Photos." We also have an installation video which I attached below. The closest thing we have to pictures for the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # T57SR is the diagram in the instructions. I also attached the instructions...
