Ellen: Hey, everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And we're taking a quick look at the replacement Firewire cable for your Roadmaster Even Brake supplemental braking system. So if something happened to that original cable, it got lost or damaged, this is going to be a direct replacement from Roadmaster to get you running again.And this is the cable that goes from the Even Brake unit, so that main unit that sits on your floorboard in your towed vehicle. It goes from that to the transmitter. And that transmitter of course, transmits a signal to our monitor in our RVs.

So we can make sure that everything's going good, adjust it, and also have the emergency override if we need to.So, this is a very important connection to make sure that everything is working right, and that we're able to make those changes or see what's going on. So you definitely want to make sure that it's working properly. I'll give you a closer look, so you can make sure that those ends match with your Even Brake.Again, it is a direct replacement from Roadmaster, so it should work just fine. We'll have those two ports, one on either side. Typically, this is kind of wrapped up around the little post that's on the side of that even break, kind of close to the power wire.

It's about six feet long. So it should be plenty of length to get you from the main Even Brake unit to that transmitter.That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the replacement Firewire cable.
