5,000-lb Capacity. When the load gets heavy, your truck shouldn't feel like it's fighting you. These air bags help you stay level and in control so you can tow with confidence and handle heavy loads without second-guessing your suspension.
When the load gets heavy, your truck needs more than just rear springs hanging on for dear life. Alpha HD air springs add up to 5,000 lbs of rear axle support, keeping your truck steady even when the trailer is loaded, the bed is packed, and the miles are long. No more rear-end sag throwing off your braking and steering, or headlights pointing into the sky. With air bag support underneath, you keep control of your ride even when you're towing a travel trailer or moving a serious payload.
Every load is different, and this system adjusts to match. Alpha HD air springs let you fine-tune ride height and firmness with air pressure from 5 to 100 psi. When carrying heavy weight, add air to level your suspension and maintain steady handling. Running without a load? Drop to the minimum pressure for a smoother, more compliant ride without stiffness or bounce. Manual inflation valves are included, so tuning your setup for each trip is straightforward and dependable.
Air bags are only as strong as their weakest link. That's why Alpha HD bags are reinforced from end to end with heavy-duty end caps, 20 internal support wires, and powder-coated steel brackets. Add corrosion-resistant hardware and thick roll plates, and you've got gear that holds up to real-world hauling through heat, cold, salt, and slop.
Adding serious load support shouldn't mean losing a whole weekend. The precision laser-cut brackets are designed to bolt cleanly to your truck's existing mounting points with minimal drilling. Just smart engineering that fits the way it should, which is perfect for the DIYer. Manual valves mount through license plate fastener holes or a location of your choosing (which may require drilling). With high-quality fittings, pre-bent brackets, and mounting hardware included, you'll be back on the road in just a few hours without a trip to the fab shop.
This kit is designed to work with your setup today and wherever your upgrades take you tomorrow. You can inflate manually with standard air valves right out of the box, no extra parts needed. Already have an onboard compressor? The Alpha HD system connects easily to most existing setups. Planning for an in-cab wireless controller down the road? No problem. The foundation is already built in, making it easy to expand your control options when you're ready.

Hello everybody. That's Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Pacbrake Alpha HD airbag suspension kit for your rear axle. It has a 5,000-pound load leveling capacity. Now this kit is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2001 to 2006 Toyota Tundra, both two-wheel and four-wheel drive trucks.
And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, that'll show if this will work for your application. Now these airbags are gonna help you stay level, drive steady, and stay in control when you're hauling heavy loads. It will include everything laid out here on the table. It includes the air springs for the rear axle, the precision laser-cut powder-coated steel brackets for installation. Comes with the grade five plated hardware, the airline with the inflation valves.
And it also comes with the push-to-connect fittings, which are actually, we install them there on the underside here that you can hook your airlines too. And it comes with installation instructions. We'll describe how this all goes together. So basically what happens is when your trailer's loaded and the bed is full, your truck needs more than just the stock rear springs to stay level and in control. That's where the Alpha HD air springs come in play.
These will add up to 5,000 pounds of rear axle support, helping your truck stay steady and secure throughout every haul. So basically, whether you're pulling a fifth wheel, hauling materials, or towing equipment, this upgrade's gonna keep you from sagging, squatting, and struggling for control. And also, one load isn't like the next. So that's why this Pacbrake gives you the freedom to adjust the air pressure from five to 100 PSI. Basically, if you need full support for a loaded trailer, just pump it up.
If you're unloaded, heading home, drop the pressure for a lot smoother ride. And again, with the simple manual inflation right out of the box, you're gonna get better ride quality and confidence no matter how much you're hauling. So basically, you can start with the simple manual inflation or you can expand your system later on with onboard air or wireless controls. The Alpha HD kit is designed to scale with your setup, so it makes future upgrades easy without redoing your foundation. Now I do wanna zoom in and show you these. These are not light duty gear. These alpha HD springs right here are built with one inch thick end caps on each end, and they use 20 internal wires in the spring itself to handle extreme loads without giving in. The parts are corrosion resistant parts, and that powder coated brackets will ensure that the system holds up through any road, salt, rain, mud, or even over time. Now, I did want to show you, we talked about the push-to-connect fittings. You'll be able to see there's the one right there and same on the other one. Now these are designed to bolt to your factory bounding points on your truck. This air spring kit installs with no drilling required. One note I do wanna mention is these air springs will not increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity. So you wanna make sure not to exceed your manufacturer's recommended weight limit. But that's gonna do it for a look at the Pacbrake Alpha HD airbag suspension kit for your rear axle.

Going camping!!!
Worked out great
Thank you Joshua for your assistance.
Easy install and done exactly what I needed it to do
Excellent choice… Very high-quality… Took 4 to 5 hours to install… Which included new shocks getting all the tools together and clean up… Very happy thank you
Installed this past weekend. Haven't towed with it yet. Nice construction and finish. I have a 2025 Chevrolet Trail Boss 2500HD and the spacers are NOT needed. Measurement for needing the spacers in 7" and above between jounce cup and contact pad. My space was 5.5" to 6".
Awesome product easy to install and I really appreciate etrailer service
It was very easy install . The ride has improved a lot while towing my 41 ft. toy hauler , Thanks !!
Direct bolt on, plug and play
The product is a great product. After installation was completed and the air added to the air suspension, it raised the rear end of the van about 2-3 inches.A very nice improvement.
Installation instructions definitely need better quality diagrams.
Easy to install and work just as I had expected. Great finish on brackets and quality hardware. Easy to follow instructions. Highly recommend these airbags!
The 2" spacers are definitely not needed for a Trail Boss. I could barely get them in, and now the ride is super stiff. Now I have to get back under the truck and remove the spacers. Not looking forward to that. It was very difficult installation, for no reason.
Very well built brackets, installation was as explained in the instruction. Happy Camper!
