Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident: Up to 1,000 lbs of Front Suspension Support

When a plow or heavy front-mounted gear makes the front end dip, steering and braking can feel off. Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs add up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity to keep your ride height even. By fitting inside your existing coil springs, they help balance weight across the front axle so steering stays predictable, headlight aim stays true, and braking feels steady even under strain.

Smooth Out Rough Roads: Adjustable Air Pressure from 10 psi to 60 psi

Every job or road feels different, so being able to dial in the right pressure matters. These air springs let you adjust from 10 psi to 60 psi to match your load. Add air for a firm, stable setup when pushing a plow or carrying weight up front, then drop the pressure for a softer ride when unloaded. Separate inflation valves on each side let you fine-tune for uneven loads to keep things level and comfortable.

Cut Down on Bottoming Out and Bounce: Polyurethane Cushioning Inside the Coils

Rough pavement and heavy loads can make a front end bounce or hit the stops. The Coil-Rite’s elastic polyurethane design cushions road shock and softens contact between axle and frame. That built-in give keeps you from bottoming out, reduces tire wear, and lets your factory suspension handle bumps with less strain—so the ride stays smoother mile after mile.

Built to Last Through Work and Weather: Durable Construction with Complete Hardware

Each kit includes the air springs, brackets, air lines, hardware, and separate valves for manual inflation. The polyurethane springs stand up to heavy loading and harsh road conditions without leaks or cracking. With rugged materials and a straightforward design meant for real-world use, these helper springs deliver years of dependable support whenever you need them most.

Firestone Coil-Rite air spring kit components including air bags, airlines, fittings, and mounting hardware for front axle installation.

by:

Just what I needed for my F250. Easy to install. I needed something to lift the front suspension while not towing or having a heavy load in the bed. Great price.

by:

A little tricky to get inside the spring. Hose clamps made it doable. Would purchase again if I’m in need of replacements. etrailer provided their usual excellent customer service!

by:

These air bags came with great instructions and I followed them but I also added a hose clamp over the bag to squeeze them down smaller and I had both bags installed in les than 45 minutes I was greatly pleased with the results. Add another 30 minutes to finish routing my air lines and adding the fittings. Very, very happy with this purchase!! Thanks etrailer for a great price.

by:

Bags are good quality but the fitting that screws on the airbag the air line hooks to broke so I am unable to use the air lines

by:

Easy installation did not even have to take wheels off race truck by frame the stretched out coil spring slit bag inside of coil hook up airline finished couldn’t be easier

by:

Stops the front end porpoising of the new RV. . .very easy to install. . .thanks

by:

Worked really well did what I wanted to do

by:

Fitment as stated and performed as expected. Easy installation.

by:

I’ve had the red set before, for some reason this blue set, the supply hose leaks air.

by:

Easy install

by:

Went in fairly easy once the springs were removed. Tight fit on the air connector. You must connect the hose BEFORE putting the spring back into the mount as there is not enough room to do it after. So far they work well.

by:

Easy install just by lifting vehicle to open the springs. It has been a year since I installed them and the performance is awesome. Holds air for months without refilling. inexpensive way to improve handling. They are an amazing addition to a more secure ride.

  • Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch And Custom Rails Using Puck System On 2001 Ford F-250 w/ Firestone Bags
For your underbed puck system on a 2001 Ford F-250, I recommend the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP30073. This system is a custom fit for your vehicle and will give you the 4-puck system similar to those you see in the factory rail kits in current vehicle models. • Is Firestone Coil-Rite Installation Hard to Do on a 2001 Ford E-450 Chassis Motor Home
I would not say that installation of the Coil-Rite springs # F4101 is all that difficult. You will need to temporarily remove the lower shock bolts to allow the axle to hang freely, and you have to release the top of the coil spring to get the bag in place. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view. Routing the air lines might be the most time-consuming part of the installation.
