The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers add up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity to keep your ride level and steady. By balancing weight across all four wheels, you maintain steering control and proper headlight aim even when hauling serious weight.
Rough roads and uneven loads don’t have to mean a harsh ride. These air springs use built-in urethane jounce springs that engage progressively as the load increases to absorb bumps, reduce sway, and help with cornering. The internal jounces also work as a fail-safe if air pressure drops, letting you temporarily carry a load with zero air pressure while protecting your suspension from bottoming out.
Whether you’re running empty or towing heavy, the LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate lets you fine-tune your setup. Adjust air pressure anywhere from 5 psi to 100 psi for the right balance of firmness and comfort. Inflate both springs equally for front-to-back leveling or adjust them independently for side-to-side leveling when loads are off-center. Manual inflation valves are included for simple adjustments using standard air fittings.
These air springs are made from 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber protected by Air Lift’s exclusive upper and lower roll plates that guard against punctures from nearby parts. The high-strength Zytel nylon endcaps are lighter, stronger, and more corrosion resistant than steel, extending the life of the system. Each kit includes two air springs with internal jounces, mounting brackets, hardware, air lines, and manual inflation valves—all built to handle heavy-duty use and changing conditions season after season.
This system installs between the frame and leaf springs without complicated modifications. Just mount the brackets, connect the air lines, inflate, and go. It’s designed for practical do-it-yourself installation using basic tools so you can get dependable suspension support without shop downtime or special equipment.

Product works great and helps level the truck during towing. I have noticed a difference in the amount of travel my back wheels have when offloading. But I knew that would be a sacrifice.

Been great! I really don’t like the internal jounce stops though. When you are unloaded and running lower bag pressure, a dip or bump will hit the bump stops really hard and jar your passengers in the backseat. It’s almost too uncomfortable to ride in the backseat now. As for the loaded and high pressure performance it’s great! Great handling and no sag at all when towing.
