Great for trucks with front-end loads like plows, these hollow rubber springs help level your ride, reduce road shock, and improve roll stability. They install easily in place of factory bump stops - no air lines or maintenance needed.
Adding a snow plow or heavy front bumper can cause your truck to sag in the front, messing with ride height and visibility. With a massive 6,500-lb load support rating, this system keeps your front end level - so your headlights stay aimed right and your truck drives like it should, no matter what's hanging off the front.
Hard braking or sudden stops can cause your truck to nose-dive, especially under load. These Aeon rubber springs have a progressive rate that absorbs small bumps but gets firmer under heavier compression, helping keep your truck flat and planted when it counts.
No need to monitor air pressure, run lines, or deal with a compressor. These rubber springs are solid, self-contained, and always ready - just install and go. Perfect if you want added support without adding complexity under the hood.
You won't need to drill, cut, or modify your suspension. These springs bolt right into the spot where your stock bump stops sit, making the upgrade straightforward even if your truck sees rough winter jobs or farm duty.
If your truck lives in the cold - think road salt, slush, and sub-zero mornings - these springs are made to handle it. The rubber construction stays flexible in the cold and resists cracking and corrosion over time.
Whether you're plowing a tight driveway or hauling tools down a backroad, extra weight up front can throw off your balance. These springs cut down body roll and front-end sway so your steering feels more responsive and the truck tracks straighter - even when fully loaded.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Front Suspension Enhancement System with Aeon Hollow Rubber Springs. This is going to be a maintenance-free upgrade, designed to improve the ride quality, stability, and overall driving confidence. And these are rated at 4,000 pounds capacity. So folks, these are custom fit.
Make sure you're getting the right parts to fit your specific needs. And it looks like these fit a 2014 through 27 Ford Transit, the T150 through 350, both the cargo van variance and the passenger wagon variance. So again, make sure you're double checking that fit guide. Now at the hardest system, as I mentioned, are these Aeon hollow rubber springs, and these are going to progressively engage as your suspension compresses. That means you're going to get a comfortable ride during those normal driving times, while additional port is there when you need it most.
Now, unlike traditional air springs, these rubber springs require no airlines, no compressors, no maintenance. So they're a one time, one and done kind of install, I like to say. And they're very reliable, they work automatically. Now the additional front end support here is going to help reduce your suspension sagging. It can reduce body roll, excessive front end diving while braking, those kind of things, while overall it's going to improve your vehicle's handling, control, and even the feeling in the steering wheel.
A lot of neighbors have told us it makes a big difference with that as well. Now these are going to be especially beneficial if they we inchesre used on like a truck with heavy bumpers, winches, snowplows, those kind of things. In this case, again, it's cargo vans, passenger wagons. A lot of times it's probably work trucks, work vehicles. And so you have a lot of gear in the back, but you also want to stop when you're breaking all that body roll from happening and these just make a big difference.
So the installation, it's going to use vehicle-specific mounting hardware. And again, it's a pretty fast installation. If you don't want to tackle the install, we got you covered. You can check out our install locator link below, and based on your zip code, we can pair you with trusted etrailer installation locations around the nation. So folks, again, whether you're hauling gear, towing, or simply looking for a more controlled ride, these timber and front suspension enhancements are going to be a great option for you. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.

I hear you, and that makes sense based on what you’re describing. If the Timbrens are in constant contact, they’re basically always engaged, which is why the front end feels so stiff instead of only firming up under load. You might actually be a really good candidate for SumoSprings part # SSF-281-47 (as long as your truck is a 2WD) They’re a similar concept but made from a softer, more progressive material, so they compress more gradually instead of feeling like a hard stop. That usually gives you support when you need it without taking away all the ride comfort like you’re experiencing now. Glad to hear the install went smoothly and the quality was there, that’s pretty typical with Timbren, it just comes down to how they behave on your specific setup. What were you mainly trying to improve up front, sag, handling, or just a smoother ride overall?

The timbren springs are working out better than expected. I installled new Monroe matic RV shocks front and rear on my 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 just prior to putting the timbrens on the front and the sumo springs on the rear and the ride is great especially with a load or hauling my travel trailer and the ride is just as smooth empty. I highly recommend the timbren and sumo springs because they fit by application and there is nothing additional to buy. Thanks etrailer.

I have upgraded towards trailing with my truck camper Artic Fox 990. I have not had the time to reach to etrailer for a solution with my 1998 Dodge 2500 timbrens installation. I have a new addition and will install the timbrens on a F-550 to have the same travel assurance...Pre trip test run to Key West early this winter... Anchorage 2024 Spring...Thank you etrailer

Still going strong. The ride is a little bumpy but when I tow the truck doesn’t feel “squishy” whenever I make my turns. I’m still super happy about the product.

Great product. Very solid and holding up well in my motorhome. My friend has sumo springs and they have a softer ride, but they had to be replaced after a few years, due to his weight distribution. Mt Timbrens seem much stronger. A little bit firmer ride, but the shocks balance that out. I would buy them again.
