The flush design keeps the crossbars tight to the roofline for a clean, from-the-factory look. With nothing sticking out past the feet, the setup stays low and sleek. The 41" aluminum bars mount snugly on your roof and blend in rather than standing out. It looks like it belongs there, not like an add-on.
When you’re driving at highway speeds, wind noise can get old fast. These aero-style crossbars are built to keep that to a minimum. The top channels have split rubber strips that reduce noise and vibration while you’re on the road. The strips also close back around mounts to help smooth airflow over the bars so you can keep conversations easy and drives more relaxed.

They work with both channel-mount and clamp-on accessories, so you can use bike racks, kayak carriers, ski holders, or cargo boxes without changing setups. Some racks make you trim channel strips before sliding in accessories—these don’t. The split-strip design lets you slide mounts right into place without cutting anything. Once you tighten your gear down, the strips close back up around the hardware. It keeps the channels sealed against wind and weather while saving time during setup.

The product is exactly as described and works great. What really stands out, though, is E-Trailer itself. I've bought from them many times over the years, and every single order has been handled with remarkable pricing, clear communication, and flawless execution.
While I secured a firm fit on the car, the rubber pads that contacted the car roof did not track the roof line as they should have. In addition, the instruction manual looked like it was written by someone who has never installed this roof rack. The parts were not labeled and the instructions were visual images that lacked a lot of detail and very little written instructions. I have owned several other Thule products in the past and found the instructions and fit to be much more accommodating. The only bright spot was the service I received from Adam S at Etrailer, who went above and beyond in helping me select the proper rack for the car I own. While I am somewhat disappointed in Thule, I would highly recommend using Adam and Etrailer.
Thule makes great products, install is straight forward, and secure on my truck. I used it for carrying long fishing rods for beach fishing.

Is perfect fit but would have liked it better if I could have just ordered and paid for the one item I needed instead of whole set of 4 feet for the repair when I only needed one.
These themselves seem great and solid - I just don't love the way they look hovering above the fit-kit.
Been a month haven’t received them yet they are in stock but guess we are waiting for one item which it’s in stock date gets pushed back every day. And the company doesn’t let the customer know the date changes or when they will send it.
Great solution for the naked roof on my 2011 Porsche Cayenne S
Perfect fit on my 2017 Ford Escape. Held cargo box for 8 months straight, no issues. Even hit a deer going 65 MPH and these held my cargo box in place.
One year in, this fit kit and the whole system have worked very well on my Kia EV6.
I miss the simplicity, in terms of cost as well as installation and removal, of the old Thule rectangular-bar racks, but this system looks better, is quiet, won't sag, and seems more robust.
This "fit kit" from THULE does not impress me much. It does not sit flush with the roof rails of my 2021 Toyota highlander, doesn't really line up with the openings on the flush mount rails, and only attaches to the vehicle via one bolt at each of the 4 mounting locations. In that sense it's inferior to even the OEM toyota roof rack mount.
