The Inno Aero Flush Roof Rack keeps things clean and tight to your roofline. The flush design means the crossbars don’t stick past the feet, giving a streamlined, from-the-factory look that blends in naturally. It’s a setup that looks built in—not bolted on—and keeps a low profile for everyday driving or long trips.
When you’re cruising at highway speeds, wind noise can get old fast. These aero-style crossbars help keep things quiet with their sleek shape and push-down rubber strips that fill the top channels. The strips also reduce vibration so you can focus on the road instead of the racket overhead.
Whether you’re hauling a kayak, loading up skis, or adding a cargo box for extra storage, these bars make it simple. The top channels work with channel-mount gear, while the bar shape also fits clamp-on accessories. That flexibility means you can mix and match your favorite carriers for any season or trip.
Some racks make you cut rubber strips to fit your mounts—these don’t. You just press your accessory hardware into the track and the strip closes around it. No trimming, no mess, just a clean fit that seals up again to help keep things aerodynamic and quiet.
Built-in lockable leg covers add peace of mind when you leave your gear mounted up. They help deter theft of both the rack and any channel-mounted accessories, so you can head out for a hike or grab lunch without worrying about what’s on your roof.

Hello, neighbor. This is Curt with etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the INNO flush roof rack and we're gonna see how it fits, and how it installs on our 2026 Hyundai Tucson. Now a roof rack is an excellent way to carry that cargo that either doesn't fit in the vehicle with you or you don't want in the vehicle with you. There are all sorts of accessories that can go up here. You've got cargo boxes, cargo baskets, bike racks, kayak carriers, ski and snowboard carriers, all kinds of things that are gonna make that next adventure of yours that much better 'cause you could bring everything with you. And all of these things are available here at etrailer.
This is a flush-style roof rack, and what that means is that the crossbar dead ends into the tower as opposed to an overhanging rack that extends out beyond that. Now while this does provide a much cleaner, more OEM look for the vehicle, it does limit us to the bar space that is in between our towers. This is going to have a 165 pound weight capacity as well. However, you always want to double check your owner's manual for the vehicle's rooftop weight capacity. If that number is lower than 165, that's gonna be your maximum weight capacity.
And one of the biggest bonuses of INNO is that you actually get metal lock cores with keys right out of the box. A lot of the premium roof rack options actually don't give you that out of the box. It's something that you have to buy separate. So the fact that INNO includes this is a tremendous bonus. The first thing I want to measure is gonna be our crossbar spread.
Now this is predetermined with the instructions from INNO. You do have some freedom to move these where you want them to, but it's pretty limited and frankly, I am not unhappy with where INNO wanted us to place these anyway. First of all, the reason that I like it so much is that you could stand in the second row door threshold, which I'm doing right now, and I'm exactly between both bars. So that's gonna make cargo management a whole lot easier. I don't have to worry about bringing a step stool or a small ladder with me everywhere I go just so I can get up on the roof and manage that cargo.
But the first thing I want to check out, like I said, is going to be our crossbar spread. That's the distance between the two bars. And the reason it's such an important measurement to know is that every rooftop accessory has a minimum and a maximum crossbar spread that's gonna let you use it. And our crossbar spread today is at 27 and 1/2 inches and that actually is perfect. That's right in the middle of that sweet spot where most accessories have their minimum and maximum crossbar spread. The other thing I'm gonna check out is going to be the height that this is gonna add to our vehicle. So if I go ahead and measure from the middle of the roof to the top of the bar, I'm sitting right at about three and a half inches. So if you know your vehicle height and you know your accessory height, you could add that to three and a half inches to get your overall traveling height while you have a cargo box or whatever it is up here. We're also gonna check out our distance underneath the bars. Underneath the bars, we're just a hair under two and a half inches. Still plenty of room to get a clamp-mounted accessory around it if we need to. And because we're limited to the bar space in between our towers, and the back bar is actually shorter than the front because of how the rails taper on the Tucson, I'm gonna take a measurement of the bar space that we've got to really work with. And that's gonna come out to about 31 and 1/4 inches of bar space back here. And I'm gonna also measure the T-track. You're gonna get a little bit more out of that. If you've got a T-track accessory that you're using, you're gonna be at about 35 and 3/4 inches. The other thing I'm gonna measure because it may be of some concern is going to be this shark fin antenna in the back, which comes in at about 2 and 3/4, maybe 2 and 7/8 inches. That still puts it below the top of my bar here. And that would be a concern normally if it wasn't because again, with a flush roof rack, you're kind of forced to load everything up into the middle of the bars here. But as long as your accessory sits on top of these bars, I don't really see it interfering with that antenna back there. Now we touched a little bit on the installation, so stick around and I'm gonna walk you through that right now. Now for the installation, we've already got our front bar installed. How that got assembled and put together is the same as the second bar, so we're gonna show you that right here. You're gonna get three basic components with each crossbar. You're gonna have the crossbar itself, the tower, and you're gonna have your fit kit. This is what makes this really more exclusive to the Tucson. So make sure before you order this roof rack that you have your year, make, and model in our fit guide. And not only that, but you select the correct roof type, be it a bare roof, a roof with flush rails like we have today, or a roof with raised rails. But with that being said, the first thing that we're gonna wanna do is get our tower and fit kit assembled together. By the end of it, it's going to look something like this where you have a pad to go over the rail and some clamps to go around it. So the way that we do that is we'll take our tower. Now sometimes out of the box, these come locked, sometimes they're unlocked. If they're locked, just grab the keys. Go ahead and unlock it and remove it. Now from under here, we're just gonna turn it over. This piece here has a rubber tab to it. That's our inner clamp. This piece here with that kind of C shape, that's our outer clamp. And this is our foot pad. For the INNO, I always like to put the foot pad on first. This is gonna kind of wrap around these two tabs right here. So I'm gonna get that around one end. It does have some stretch to it, so I'll stretch around, get it over the other. It's better to do these big tabs first and then work on these shorter ones in the front. But you'll end up with it just like this. Once that's done, I'm gonna take my rear clamp. Make sure that cylinder is in there. That is threaded. That's gonna go in the back here like this. Make sure that the rubber side is facing your foot pad here. Make sure that's all lined up. That's just gonna drop right in there. The outer clamp is gonna go in just like this. And what you'll end up doing is taking your bolt. It's going to have two different washers: a metal washer and a plastic washer. And we're just gonna thread that through and we're gonna get it started into that cylinder block in the back. We don't want to thread it down all the way. We wanna be able to keep some slack in this and keep it open. It just makes it a lot easier to get it up on our rails. You'll take your crossbar. Now you are gonna get two different lengths of crossbar because the rails on the top of the Tucson start wider in the front and then taper narrower as you get toward the back. The longer of the two bars is gonna go on the front. The shorter of the two bars will be your crossbar toward the back. So we've got the shorter crossbar here. I'm just gonna turn that over on its back just like this. What we're gonna have here is this kind of sliding tray. There's a tab here that you want to depress and bring it all the way back so this full open cavity is exposed. Now these are side-specific. There is gonna be a little indicator here showing the narrow end of the bar and the wider end of the bar. This is the narrower end here. So by the time I turn this over, it's gonna be facing the right way. They're also indicated by an L and by an R, left side meaning driver's side, R meaning passenger side. If you want to align it that way, you just have to remember that the wider portion of your crossbar always faces the front of the vehicle. So I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna take this and I'm gonna turn it over on its back so that these tabs fit right into this cavity, just like so. At this point, I'm gonna take this lever and I'm gonna open it up all the way. This is actually releasing the tabs so that it's gonna allow me to slide back, that tab will pop up, and now my tower is locked in place. As far as how far apart your towers need to be, in your instructions, they do have a measurement. The middle of the bar is indicated right here. You can take a measurement from the middle of the bar to where the crossbar comes in and match that up on both sides. That is on way to do it. However, I think it's actually easier just to kind of get it up on your roof and measure it out from there. It does give you a specific measurement, however, of where to put it up on the roof as far as distance from the front crossbar. The measurement that it gives for our second bar is 27 and 1/2 inches from this door seam right here to the center of our bar here. So the front bar, it tells you to put the middle of the tower right at where this door seam is. So without the cover on it, you'd see that's where the bolt lines up. The second one, we're just gonna measure 27 and 1/2 inches back from that. What I'm gonna do is just get it on the roof to start and get it at about this door seam right here. That should be pretty close to 27 and 1/2. So I'm just feeding this over the top, and I'm bringing this back here. Now if I need to move my tower out a little bit more, remember this lever at the bottom, you can push out on that and it's just gonna make movement of the bar much, much easier. But the idea is I want to get it nested up here in a way that my foot pad is going around it just the way it's supposed to. I wanna make sure that the front of my clamp is gonna be able to grip underneath this lip here on the rail. Extremely important that our towers are directly across from one another on each bar. If we make sure of that, that means our crossbars are gonna be perfectly parallel and that's how you're gonna be able to safely load accessories and cargo up on the top. So in the front, I had mentioned you line up the bolt there with the middle of this door seam, but just using the naked eye, you could be off by a little bit. So to make sure that that's not the case, what I did was I measured from the top of the windshield glass up to the front of my clamp here. And I went ahead and I did that over on the passenger side too on this front bar. When I match both of the measurements, I know that these are gonna be directly across from one another. So when it comes to putting this bar back at 27 and 1/2 inches, I went ahead and measured and double checked each side to make sure it was 27 and 1/2 inches on each side. But now that I have that in place, what I'm gonna do next is I'm just going to kind of hold this clamp down. I'm just gonna kind of hand-thread it. You do have a tool that you could do this with as well. I just find it easy. I'm just trying to get this to the point where it's just a bit snug. That way I'm not gonna accidentally knock anything out of place by using the tools. I wanna make sure that it gets snug on both sides and stays secure onto my rail. Now that I've got it to the point where it's pretty snug up on both sides, I'm gonna go ahead and grab the tool that INNO gave us. You just take this part out here, slide it in there, and I'm gonna throw this bolt, just kind of start to slowly clamp it down. Now it is important that I do this incrementally. If I tighten one side down completely, it is gonna knock the other side out of place even if it's very slight. We don't want that to happen. My suggestion would be give it two or three turns on the driver's side then go do the same on the passenger and just work yourself back and forth until it's tightened down completely. Now as you're tightening, the other thing that's gonna get a little tighter is going to be up here where your bar is. So while you still have freedom of movement, I always like to make sure that this is distributed evenly too. So you could take a measurement here of whatever slack is left over and make sure that's even on both sides. We've got it pretty darn close with this where it is though. What you really don't want is a whole lot of this bark on one side and not enough on the other. So make that about as even as you can. But as you continue to tighten this down, this is a torquing tool. So you'll know when you have it tight enough when you get a really loud pop out of the tool itself. (tool clicks) That's the sound that you want. That lets you know that it's tightened down completely. The other thing you can make sure of is to make sure that these levers end up being flush again underneath. Those do tighten up as you tighten this bolt down. So a lot of times it's not an issue anyway. But the final step is going to be to go ahead and take your tower cover, slide that back into place, lock it on, and your installation is complete. But if after watching this video, you decide that this is still a little bit more than you want to take on by yourself from an installation standpoint, allow us to find an installer near you that can help you get this on the roof of your Tucson. But that's a look at the INNO flush roof rack on our 2026 Hyundai Tucson. I'm Curt with etrailer. Thanks for stopping by.

This rack fit my 2024 Ford Maverick perfectly, although etrailer said it wouldn’t fit. I checked the fit guide on the Inno website, this was confirmed as an option for my truck. Installation went well, fit is perfect, really like the Inno products. Highly recommended. Unable to download photos, bummer.
Installed on a '24 Ford Expedition Max. The 63 inch bars are nice and long, without being too long. Much easier to install than some other more expensive name brands. Definitely recommend.
Very nice quality, made in Japan. Easy to install using the Inno XS150 base stays. The 51" was a nice size for my 2015 Touareg. Many of the manufacturers recomment wider (53-54"), but I like the narrower profile. Unfortunately, the Aero design still creates a slight bit of wind noise at highway speeds, and it gets worse if the sunroof is raised (vent). I like the soft rubber T-channel material which allows the accessories to mount without cutting the material. I also like the slightly arched shape.
Worked like a charm. My daughter and I completed a 10K mile, 35 day camping trip around the USA.
Got these with the custom fit kit (INK860) and the through feet/stays (INXS250) for my 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Assembly's not difficult, though you do have to work with three different instructions: 1 for the stays/feet (the main install instructions), one for the Crossbars (minimal to do there), and one for the custom fit kit (again, minimal, though this one is crucial as it contains the measurements for the setup).
Things went pretty smoothly. However, when I put it on my roof at the measured distances from the center line, the feet didn't both occupy the rain gutter as they are supposed to. I checked the measurements, and both the front stays were at 21.5" and both back stays were at 21 3/8 " . Since those were the called for measurements, I'm not sure why I didn't fit perfectly. However, they're great and I can't wait to put them to use with my kayak and snowboard and bike. Thanks E-Trailer.
Photos show how great the system looks as well as some of the gaps at the rain gutters. I don't think it's crucial to readjust those. I did try several times but couldn't seem to get them just right.
Lauren gave me a very good and thorough explanation on what I need and what options I have. I'm very happy with the roof rack and kayak saddle. The sadly easily fitted my tandem old town twin heron kayak.
Overall great product. Wife hears a little whistle. With radio on all good for now.
These are great! Easy to use and easy to install. Thanks George!
Great fit, look and service
Very helpful staff. Great product and super fast shipping.
I bought this for my 2016 Fiat 500X which has two glass sunroofs, and it fits perfectly! Follow the directions, put the bars where it says to, and your glass will be safe. You can't open the sunroof while this is in place, but hey, at least you can haul gear on your roof without breaking the glass.
The rails completed the parts I needed to install my roof rack on my 2010 Forester. What was particularly important were the buying and installation guides and video for the products I selected. Order placement was simple, and the order follow up from eTrailers was greatly appreciated.
Still holding up as well as the day it was installed (Mar'20). I've loaded this system down with a basket full of camping gear and another trip with 3 kayaks and single bike. Everything stayed solid and didn't budge at highway speeds and windy mountain roads.
Very happy with these cross bars for our 2023 Tiguan. Installation was easy as is adding accessories such as baskets. Great looking too. There is some audible drag on highways but not terrible and no real noticeable MPG difference. I would still purchase again.
The quality of this product is 5 start and fit exactly with my 2017 nissan rogue..
This is the second time buying the Enno Aero Crossbars from etailer - a set for each car. Best price around. The bars are incredibly quiet even with the cargo box on top. If etrailer doesn't have all of the components for your make and model of car, I suggest you buy what does fit your car from etrailer for price and shipping speed and then buy the rest directly from Inno USA site.
