I have a 2013 Kia RIo 5 with a blank roof. I am looking at buying the Aluminum Roof Mounted Cargo Basket but how do I mount that with a blank roof?

For your 2013 Kia Rio 5 door, to add a roof basket you will first need to add a roof rack. I recommend the Inno Aero Roof Rack # INXB100-108, # INXS200, and # INK608 which is a custom fit for your vehicle to mount to a naked roof (no side rails). The rails will be 27-1/2 inches on center. I've attached the installation details to assist.

Then for an aluminum roof basket, we have the following options:

You will want to consider the length of the basket so it doesn't interfere with your hatch access. Baskets are adjustable front to back, but you want to make sure the load is spread as evenly as possible over your crossbars.
