To be honest the aero style bars would be the quietest bars out there. We recommend two things if the whistling noise is too much. The first is to make sure that the strips do not have any gaps that could cause the whistling. Also you can consider a fairing like part # RRRF4 which will direct the air up over the roof rack to minimize the wind noise.
