Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the RV Designer basic round cable hatch in black. So folks, these are designed for routing power cables through this exterior panel and it has a flip up lid. It is a low profile design. As you can see, the back is open for that cable to go through there.
And again, whenever it's closed, you'll have a nice clean streamlined look. And then when there's nothing plugged in, you can even close that smaller lid as well. Now it does use three screw holes to install it. There's no hardware included. You need to source that locally or separately.
And it is a heavy duty plastic construction. The cutout here is gonna fit up to a 30 amp cord and this will be an easy installation and a nice original matching equipment, whole location and footprint. So meaning if you replace the one that's on your current rig, this should pop in there very easily and pretty much fit that same cutout footprint. So let's go ahead and get some measurements here. I got about four and five-16th inches overall.
