Does Seaflo Submersible Utility Pump # SE54FR Self Prime

Question:
When used inline with a short hose say, 18 from a water container, will it self-prime and draw water up?

Hey Aaron, if the pump part # SE54FR is submerged under water it is self priming but if not it does require priming. I am not totally sure what your setup is though so I don't know exactly if you'd need to prime or not.
