Question:

I have the BM78MR unit with brass check valve that is leaking. Thinking about replacing it with this unit with replaceable check valve. Is it a -in replacement? Replacing the check valve would require removing the retaining clip from the back side? Is this product offered in black? Thanks.

Welcome back Kurt! The B&B RV Water Center item # BM26MR would be the same size as the B&B RV Water Center BM78MR you currently have. It would be a pretty quick replacement because the mounting holes and thread sizes are all the same.

The Replacement Plastic Check Valve item # BM58GR is the correct replacement for the B&B RV Water Center item # BM26MR. In the event of a failure you would have to unscrew the Water Center item # BM26MR to install the Replacement Plastic Check Valve item # BM58GR. You wouldn't be able to drop it in from the front because you have to access the U looking retainer piece and rethread the water line.

The B&B RV Water Center item # BM26MR is only available in white.
