Today we're going to take a look at the Valterra 3-Inch RV Waste Valve Body with the coupler, the seals and the hardware. This Valtera 3-inch RV Waste Valve Body is designed to be used with a flexible cable handle. It includes the coupler right here that attaches to your cable. Includes the seals, one for each side of the valve body and it even includes the hardware at the bottom, the 4 bolts and nuts to install this to your system. It comes with the Allen Wrench which is used right here to loosen that up, attach your cable and then tighten it down. As you can see as it operates it will open and close and just to give you an idea of the inside diameter of that opening is right at 3 and a half inches. That should do it for the review on the Valterra 3-Inch RV Waste Valve Body with the coupler, the seals and the hardware.
First of all, high praise to etrailer for an excellent site, selection and service. Also, they waited A Whole Year before asking for a review! How else do know if a product is worthy?
This one is great. It was installed easily and works well. I had trouble finding the right valve at my two local options but etrailer had what I needed. A year later and there are no drips and the valve works easily.
Don't throw away your old parts!! Bolts are too short. The Allen set screw is three threads long and i did not think it even came with the part. It was an exact replacement and it worked. Valterra is just skimping on materials to save money.
I installed this over a year ago and it still works great and no leaks. It’s not easy to install; I had to cut the underbelly of the RV (slit it with a utility knife) and peeled a small portion of it back to access the valve. Then I sealed the underbelly with duct tape, it still holds solid.

This replaces an identical black tank valve in my RV. It is identical to the one I removed, was a relatively easy install, and fixed my problem. The price was fair and, as always, was delivered quickly and well packaged. etrailer is one of my go to companies for parts, information, and advice and they are always great to work with.

Two of the bolts holding this valve in worked loose, initially causing a smell in my RV and later flooding my wet bay floor with black water. Once I figured out what the problem was it stopped leaking. It took several days to figure out that the valve had loosened up, each followed by a thorough clean up. The valve itself was fine and I still give it five stars, but flat and lock washers should be included when this valve is purchased.
Only vendor I could find that had only the valve body without couplings and cable. Just what I was looking for. Item was shipped timely and arrived a day early and it was just what I ordered. Installed the valve today and it did the trick. No leaks, smooth and easy pull. For sure in the future when I'm needing anything for my RV I will return to etrailer.

The valve is working as well as the first day I installed it... No complaints at all...
Not a fun job to replace but did fix our sticking waste water valve. Lucky for me the tank was empty. The exit is at the rear of the tank so I lowered the front of the camper just to be sure not liquids tried to sneak out when I removed the old one. One you get the plastic on the bottom down the valve swap took five minutes.
I ordered two(2) 120 inch pull cables and 11/2 inch and 3 inch gate valves. At first I could not find the 120 in cable on line so i called the company and the girl that answer ( i wish i had wrote down her name) was a great help. She directed me were to look and help with my order, She also said that I could download the catalog witch is a great help for future needs . My order showed up in 2-3 days. Parts were easy to install. Everything was done within a week i am very pleased with process and parts. Sorry i don't have pictures. Thank you etrailer
The Valterra 3" waste valve had worked flawlessly, it is made very well, had all the necessary parts for the install in the kit and was a great value. Vicki N. you and etrailer was awesome to work with!
The product arrived with all hardware shown, no looking for an allen wrench to fit, but there is one small issue with the bolts. Since this is a remote operate valve, there is an extension that needs to be installed for the cable to be installed correctly. IF the extension was not needed, the included bolts are fine. Because the extension is needed for this application you will need two bolts that are 1/8" to 1/4" longer to make up for the added thickness of the extension.

Valve bodies were shipped the following day from when I placed the order. Very easy to install and work smoothly. They are a direct match for my Winnebago view. unfortunately, you do have to use the bolt that you remove as the bolts supplied with this are about a half inch too short.
Got all the goodies but....I was surprised it didn't appear to have stainless screws. My old handle won't fit on the new type valve. Oh well.......
Exactly what I ordered - will install it next week in my camper trailer!!

I received this product yesterday and installed it today. Works great just as the do. I recommend this product to anyone and will order more items from etrailer. Fast shipping great job.

My black tank valve had gotten hard to open and close, and also the seals had started to allow the liquid to slowly bypass. Found this great buy from etrailer.com and it was here in a week. Easy to install, great price, no issues.
After trying several local RV dealers and [online], etrailer had the right part that I needed at a reasonable price.
The valve arrived promptly and is insta lled!
It was and exact replacement for my old valve. Other sites wanted to sell all of the attachments but I only needed the valve and that’s how you carry it.

Is a good product. Was easy to install. Able to drill into the top of it to run the rods and get rid of the stupid cables the RV Manufactures are putting on the new RV's. Thank you.

I damaged my old valve trying to replace the seals. Good product, but pay attention to how the cable is clamped when you take the full assy apart to replace just the valve.
Replaced a valve worked for about a month and then started leaking again Between the black tank in the outlet
