Does Slide-Out Actuator Need to be Replaced if Slide-Out Jams When Using Switch

Question:
My slid out jams in when closed. It clicks when I try to reopen it. If I manually crank it open a few turns it will then open and close again with the switch. I disconnected the slide and the actuator still jams up when I allow it to close with just the bell on the end of the actuator. Replaced the clutch also. Would you agree the actuator is locking up for some reason when it is closed?

I spoke with my contact at Lippert who agrees that it sounds like your actuator needs replacing. If you have a LCI Through-Frame Slide-Out or a Tuson motor then the 40" Venture RV Slide-Out Actuator # LC145595 that you referenced is compatible. Otherwise just let me know what you have and I can see if we have a compatible replacement for you.
