Speaker 1: Today we're talking a look at a Mighty Cord RV power inlet. This inlet lets you plug in your RV power cord. It features the male twist lock plug that accepts a 30 amp female twist lock plug. This unit can be used as a replacement or as a new inlet for your application. It has the threaded ring connection, which creates a weatherproof connection with the locking ring on your RV's power cord. We're looking at a durable polyester construction.
This cap is a really nice cap. It clicks into the closed position. But on the back side of the lid it has a foam gasket, which creates a weather tight seal right here. That's going to protect the inlet when it's not in use, and the connection points.It's white in color. On the backside we have this casing back here with the included strainer leaf bracket.
This keeps unwanted strain and stress off the wiring and off the connection points. Then right here we have the connection points for our wiring. Each connection point features the terminal screws, so you strip back your wiring, loosen up the screw, place your wiring into the appropriate slot. Once you get it in there, then you re-tighten the screw to make your connection.Also on the backside, come with a seal or a gasket for a tight seal at the installation surface. This unit does require a two and 7/8th inch diameter hole for installation.
Then when it comes to the overall dimensions, it gives us a measurement of about, I'm going to say three and a half to three and 5/8th inches, by about 3 1/4 inches. Then the mount holes on the unit, it's a square pattern. Those are separated on center by two and 7/16th inches.That's going to do it for today's look at the Mighty Cord RV power inlet.

Better quality than the cheaper ones in the market.
Solid Unit-its placement in my custom built skargo trailer works flawlessly on my maiden 6 week voyage thru NM, Co, Utah and back to Texas.

Still in great condition after one year of extreme temperatures in my travels.
Installed on by cargo trailer conversion. The cover seems a little flimsy but it is comparable to what was on my previous factory travel trailer.
The product was well made. Easy to install.
Good boy for the money.
Great product. It arrived promptly and was easy to install. The only thing i was not impressed with was the connection lugs that are not solid in the receptacle and slightly move around making connection to the shore plug a bit harder to mate for a quick connection. The outlet is still better than some i saw in trailer repair catalogs for twice the price. I am happy i thought of ETRAILER for a good deal.
This plug is a good sturdy built product. I use it on my travel trailer it provides a good seal so no water leaks
I thought this was the 30 amp door on the camper.. accurately it is a lot smaller
Dimensions are exact for replacement. Plastic housing is cheap. Screws and prongs are not stainless steel. Would not recommend for marine or exposed environment.
