Specs:
The SmartView power inlet is an easy upgrade to make to your RV. The mounting dimensions are identical to those found on standard power inlets and will use the same size opening in the side of your RV. The included illustrated instructions will walk you through each step of installation. If you feel unsure about wiring, consult an electrician.
How to Use
If any of the LED lights are red and the halo light is red or not illuminating, theres a wiring problem at the power source. Consult the manual to determine if theres a missing ground, missing neutral, missing line, or reverse polarity. If all lights are off when the outlets breaker is on, its not providing any power at all. Notify the campground managers and get a new site.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Safe View Smart Power Inlet. This is a square, 50-amp RV power inlet that's going to allow you to hook up to your shore power using your power cord, which of course is sold separately. This is going to be the male connector that accepts your 50-amp, female twist-lock RV power cables, it is going to be compatible with locking rings. This does have the smart LED circuit sensor that's going to check your shore connection to make sure it's safe. It's got the illuminated letters here on the side, so we've got G for ground, L1 for your line 1, L2 for line 1, and then N for neutral.
So these will wind up with either a green light to let you know that the wiring is good and working properly, or a red light to detect a missing ground, missing neutral, or a reverse polarity. So the LED backlight will also illuminate a solid white if the circuit is good, and will flash red if an issue has been detected, so a really nice option there to make sure that that shore power coming in is going to work well, there's no issues with it. This cover will snap into place to help keep the inlet clean and safe when you're not using it. This is constructed of a glass-impregnated, fire-retarding nylon plastic construction, so it is going to be weather resistant, will hold up really well for you. The contacts are nickel plated, so they are going to provide corrosion resistance.
This is very easy to get installed, they do include four, or five screws here to get this mounted in place, as well as instructions to walk you through the installation process to make sure everything is installed properly, and it's gonna work for you. This does meet the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association standard, so it is RVIA compliant. It also is Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association compliant and Electrical Testing Laboratories certified. So if you are wanting to have that smart function on your inlet, this is gonna be the way to go to make sure that that shore power is gonna be safe when you get hooked up. That completes our look for today.
Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com, thanks for watching..
