Instead of using two adapter the part # A10-1550DAVP would be a better option as it goes from a 50 amp twist lock female to 15 amp male like you need.
Of if you wanted a longer setup the part # A10-1550D90VP is 12 inches long and has a 90 degree elbow. For a straight connector we have the part # A10-1550DVP.
